Connected quickly and works great!
I love this pen! Over a year ago, I had one that came with my laptop (HP Pavilion x360) but I lost it and I was unable to find it. I bought this one recently as a replacement and it connected automatically. It works just as well as my old one! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of purchasing it.

Not working
It didn't charge, it didn't work at all. I returned it.I have another stylus, the exact same one, but it came with my laptop, so pretty much I know how this type of stylus works.

Best pen for HP laptops and also works on Microsoft Surface
I have two HP laptops that support the Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP). I also have two Microsoft surface devices that also support MPP. This pen works great with all four of them. The two HP laptops that I tried are an x360 Spectre 13.3 from 2020 and an x360 Spectre 13.5 from 2022. The pen worked perfectly with both of them. The 2020 laptop does not have the magnets to attach the pen to the screen. The pen held firmly on the right side of the screen on the 2022 model.I also tried this pen on a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 and a Microsoft Surface Go 2. It worked perfectly on both of those as well. Similar to the HP laptops, the older Surface Go 2 lacks the magnets to attach the pen to the screen. The Surface 9 has the magnets, but to attach the HP pen it's held in place better if I attached it upside down (tip facing up instead of down).I really like the way this pen charges. You slide open the end to expose a USB C port. You can charge it with the really short USB cable that came with it, or any other USB C cable you have. It doesn't take a lot of current to charge, so it will charge off the USB port of your laptop. The end glows orange so that you know it's charging. This pen a tiny bit thinner and lighter than the older HP pen that requires a AAAA Battery. I hated carrying extra batteries.I'm not an artist, so I cannot really tell how well the tilt and pressure sensitivity works for drawing. I use it for taking notes in meetings. Because it's an active stylus with palm rejection, it's more precise and convenient to use than a cheap capacitive stylus.
