Reliable and Powerful Portable Power Station
I’m very impressed with this portable power station. It’s easy to use, charges quickly, and provides reliable power when needed. It’s great for camping, road trips, power outages, or as an emergency backup at home. The build feels solid and durable, and the display makes it easy to check the power level. A very useful and dependable product!

Great battery backup
What is it? It is a Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max made by ECOFLOW. They call it a Solar Generator however it is a 2048Wh battery unit. It does not CREATE power so it is not a generator. Once charged it can be used to power devices like a cell phone charger, refrigerator, or even an air conditioner. Using this as a backup solution for your home is also a good option as it provides plenty of power for many of the things you'd want to utilize during a power outage like a deep freezer, Wi-Fi router, Television, Microwave, CPAP, coffee maker, chargers, etc. Why do you need it? If you need battery backup or stored energy to power things, this may be the right product for you. What are some of the best features? It can be charged via grid (1,800W AC input), solar, or even charge from your car. I was able to charge mine from 0% to 100% in one hour and fifteen minutes using grid. Once the colling fans start, you can hear them if you are near it but they are pretty quiet, wouldn't disturb your favorite television show. If you choose to charge using solar, you can do so up to 1000W max using dual 500W inputs. You can also charge via grad at the same time. *Per ECOFLOW website: "With its upgraded LFP battery chemistry, DELTA 2 Max has a lifespan of 3000 complete cycles until it reduces to 80% capacity. You'll get pretty much 10 years of power, even if you use it every day. That's 6× longer than other power stations with a similar capacity and output." **Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry (also known as LFP or LiFePO4) is an advanced subtype of Lithium Ion battery commonly used in backup battery and Electric Vehicle (EV) applications. You can add up to two additional battery unit to this providing up to 6144Wh. It has a FIVE YEAR warranty. There are six 30AMP outlets, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, two FAST USB-A ports, two DC5521 12 volt ports, and a Car Power Output (cigarette lighter for us older generation) What could use improvement? 1. It would have been nice if it would have included a pair of solar charging cables. ECOFLOW website nor ECOFLOW Amazon Store had any available so I ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCRTB5N7 You will want the XT60i, it must include the "i" if you want to have the capability of 500 watts each. The XT60i connector has an anti reverse insertion design. 2. Occasionally when connecting the solar panels, the unit wouldn't auto-start charging right away. Sometimes I'd have to disconnect the solar cable a time or two before the Delta 2 Max would start charging from the panels.

Reliable power and excellent performance
This portable power station has been an excellent purchase. The manufacturing quality is very good, it feels robust and easy to transport. The screen is clear and allows control of the battery level and consumption without complications. Charging is fast and powers several devices at the same time without problems. It has fully met my expectations and gives me a lot of peace of mind to use it at home, during trips or in the event of a power outage. Highly recommended.

Will Power a Gas Home Furnace for Hours
This is enough to power a house-sized furnace blower for multiple hours (gas furnace, not electric, of course). We permanently keep it plugged in to our vaction house furnace to provide an automatic USB-like cutover when we are gone, to keep the house from freezing during shorter power outages. When the power is on, it powers straight through this unit to the furnace, without invovling the battery. It works great for that purpose; just be sure to set the AC output to "always on". Although it would only run the furnace continuously for 3 hours when the power goes out, the furnace does not run continuosly so this battery runs our gas furnace for about 7 hours in the winter keeping the temp at 70 when it is freezing outside; would probably run much longer if you were keeping the temp at 50. The free iPhone app that comes with it, allows us to see what is happening remotely when there is a power outage at an empty vacation home. Of course, you need to put another smaller version of this item on your WiFi system, to use like a USB on steroids, so it stays up and allows you to remotely monitor the house while the power is out. We bought the solar panels for backup, but we have not plugged them in to try them out yet. UPDATE: SEVERAL MONTHS AND POWER OUTAGES LATER: I read the review above, by "curt", complaining that this unit is not reliable. I would suggest that his complaints are "operator error". If you read the directions thoroughly (they are very good) you find out that most of the features time out if you do not set each one up to never time out. And, they do ask you every time before they do a software update and require an affirmative "yes" to begin (I never do the update remotely so I can check things out in person) and they do warn you when you begin a software update that you should re-set the features after the update. The default "timeout" on each output, was to preserve battery life if you are using it as a battery and not a USB. But the control software on your iPhone is very good, and if you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS you will know to toggle on all of the "never shut off" toggles. I tested this on my furnace many times by pulling the power cord when the furnace was running. Not even a hiccup. Also, we woke up one morning at the mountain home with news that a huge pine tree feel on a power line over night in the cold of winter. We didn't know, because the furnace switched over to this battery backup without any intervention, and we were still toasty warm in the morning although we had no lights. It kept us with heat long enough for the power to come back on later in the day. Another time, there was a scheduled power outage that was supposed to last for the whole day. We had to leave in the middle of the day before power was restored. We were able to log on remotely to this unit, to find out when power was restored later in the day (it shows you input and output wattage; when the input wattage is restored you know that you have power again). Read the instrutions. Du'oh.

Powerful, Fast, and Amazingly Well-Built
I just received the DELTA 2 Max, and right out of the box it made a strong impression. The charging speed is the first thing that stood out to me. When I plugged it in for the first time, the percentage jumped so quickly that I actually double-checked the display. Getting to 80% in under an hour is not an exaggeration — it really does it. The overall build quality feels premium. The LFP battery chemistry was a major reason I chose this model, and even as a new owner, you can tell it’s designed for long-term durability. It gives a sense of confidence that you’re not buying something that will fade out after a handful of uses. I immediately tested it with several of my own devices — my computer setup, my monitor, some studio gear, a few household items — and it handled everything without even blinking. Seeing it push out clean power to multiple things at once reassures you that the 2400W rating is not just theory. The number of outlets also makes it practical; I never felt limited or cramped trying to plug in several items at the same time. The quiet operation is another pleasant surprise. When it’s charging, it’s barely noticeable. I had it sitting a few feet away, and it never became a distraction. The expandable capacity is also a smart feature. Even though I haven’t added extra batteries yet, just knowing that I can turn this into a much larger backup system if needed is a big plus. Overall, as a new owner, everything about this unit feels solid, fast, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely capable. It delivers exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it.

Great easy to use power station for my pop-up tent trailer/RV
Ordered this so I could power my pop-up tent trailer for trips longer than a weekend and as a backup generator for my pellet stove and sump pump for winter outages (but mostly for my RV). I only use about 250-300W per day on my pop-up...but even with my 210AH batteries I can only get ~4days before that batteries are below the 50% mark (told I should no discharge batteries below 50% to lengthen battery life. The problem is that I often go for 2 weeks and need the electric to run my gas fridge if nothing else (but also want to occasionally run the water pump as well. I don't want to rent a site with electric because they are 2x as expensive as a primitive (no hookup) tent site (there is a weird loophole what a popup is considered a tent even though my pop-up is 21' long and has a bathroom, shower, full kitchen, etc. just like a full RC). I had brought a small 2000W Honda generator which is very quite but ran into 2 problem: 1) the campground I use most frequently doesn't allow generators at all, and 2) instead of it taking about an hour or 2 to fully charge the battery the pop-up when into regular charging mode which is only 5A so a full charge would take over 10 hours of running the generator (apparently to not damage the battery) The ECOFLOW solves my problem in 2 ways: 1) it has a full 2000WHrs of power which should be enough to power my popup on its own for over 7 days (with another 4 from the trailer batteries), 2) It can fully recharge in less then 1.5hours using either AC or my Honda generator and then give me another 7 days. The recharge time for me is key as it means that for my next planned trip for 6 weeks I can either bring the generator to the men's room and plug it in for an hour, or go to a parking lot outside the campgroup and recharge with my Honda generator. I test with the Honda generator and it works just as expected. It took just a bit longer than I had hoped (1hr) only because the Honda was only able to source 13A continuously instead of 15A and I also wanted to go to 100% not 80%) I also am considering just getting a 200W or 400W solar panel that they sell and probably would not even need to recharge with AC or generator for the duration. Build quality is excellent and while the unit is heavy it's not that bad to carry with the 2 built in handles (with 2 people it's a snap) Very happy with this purchase and as a bonus it gives me piece of mind for the occasional power failures we get during the winter. While a bit pricey I think what you get is probably worth it and is a great solution for my situation.

Saved our full freezer!
Saved our full freezer! We lost Power for 18 hours. Connected our freezer to this and it kept it running for 15 hours and could have gone longer but our power was finally restored. Will be buying another!

Customer/product support non existent.
So 1, like 2 million other Houston residents, lost power for several days after our most recent hurricane. I thought I was covered with my delta 2 max and dual fuel smart generator. I was wrong. I spent about 75% of the blackout drenched in sweat fighting to get the "smart" generator to cooperate with the delta 2 max. I had constant issues. The main problem being that the generator would rev up like it was about to send power to the delta but then zeroing out seconds later while still revving as if it was sending power. Constant 520 codes among others. It only worked about 1 of every 10 attempts. The "smart" feature that's supposed to run the dual fuel to charge the delta when it drops below a certain percentage worked 1 time in 5 days without power. Meaning waking up in the middle of the night to fight with it for an hour before I could get it to send any power and usually resulting only a partial charge before I had to fight it again in 100 degree 100% humidity weather. So completely disappointed in what was a major investment for myself and my family. Step in EcoFlow customer service. I called in the middle of the blackout on a particularly frustrating day and was shocked there was no one I could speak to that had any technical knowledge of the system. All the support agents don't even scratch the surface of technical support beyond checking for frayed wires. Extremely disappointing. I was told they'd escalate and send an email so I could enter product info and they'd have someone from technical support call and help me out with diagnosing the issue and warranty support. 3 full days later and nothing. Called back and just got off the phone with them and nothing has changed. No new information. No explanation, no timetable, nothing other than the same useless customer support experience I went through the first time. It's unbelievable that you can invest so much money into an emergency power system and receive zero technical support in a timely manner especially during a time of crisis. I'm currently still waiting on a callback. Think long and hard before you invest into this ecosystem. Their support is nonexistent in my experience. One of the worst I've ever dealt with.

Great for back up power for our freezer
Use as a back up power supply for our extra freezer. Has been great, no problems. Was recommended by our electrician as was cheaper to buy from Amazon than from his company.

A caregiver's lifesavor
Ecoflow has done it again: make my life easier as a caregiver. This time, the game changer is their Delta 2 Max power station. I’ll leave it to others to figure out and pinpoint the technical pros and cons of this device. All I can say is that for me, being able to generate electricity when needed is deeply reassuring and helpful. I am amazed by Ecoflow’s user-friendly ecosystem and forever grateful to them for helping me sleep better at night. Indeed, knowing that my power stations, smart extra battery and solar panels will help me take good care of my 93-year-old mother, who has dementia and who cannot walk anymore, is priceless. After reading extensively about Delta 2 Max and its LFP battery chemistry, deciding to upgrade to this device was a no-brainer. Also, the fact that a smart extra battery could double its capacity up to over 4kWh was a determining factor. Add to these latest acquisitions two previously bought Delta 2, two 160 W portable solar panels and one 220 W bifacial panel (renewable energy now strikes me as pure magic), and we’re all set to face the next challenge. We are blessed to live in a region safe from natural disasters, but power failures do happen - a disturbing thought in light of my mother’s condition. In fact, just recently we were out of power for five days but we managed just fine thanks to our EF products. Although I was able to recharge my power stations twice a day thanks to our town’s generators and to friends who had power, I figured we still needed to be more self-sufficient, hence the purchase of a Delta 2 Max and of a Delta Max Smart Battery following that power failure. Those extra 4000 W give me huge peace of mind. I can envision how much easier managing through the next blackout will be, knowing that our new equipment will give us greater leeway while increasing intervals between recharges. Mind you, our pair of Delta 2’s were incredibly useful during those five days without electricity, as they powered my mother’s lift, hospital bed and mattress. I could also warm some water to wash her in the morning. They powered our full-size fridge and 5.5 cu. ft. chest freezer, as well as the sump pump when needed. Router, microwave, coffee machine, cell phone, laptop, IPad, DVD player, lights, radio… bring it on ! As I am writing this review, we in Canada are on track for our worst-ever wildfire season, including northern Quebec. Although we live in Montreal, hundreds of miles away, some of these fires resulted in loss of electricity for tens of thousands of people in our city. There is no such thing as avoiding natural disasters’ impacts anymore and that is why you can never be too prepared. What about Delta 2 Max’s lifespan of 3000 complete cycles until it reduces to 80% capacity ? this amazing durability is definitely impacting the way I am using it, for it is not only about being ready to handle potential emergencies anymore. Some days I just enjoy making good use of it by living partially off the grid. I’ve even reorganized the kitchen in order to make it more accessible when cooking, amongst other things. Owning two Delta 2’s plus a Delta 2 Max seems to perfectly meet our needs, offering us a great mix between portability (Delta 2) and power (Delta 2 Max and an extra battery). In fact, being able to rely on such extra power definitely feels like we’ve reached the big leagues. It’s a great feeling.

A Huge Improvement Over the Competition
The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is outstanding. It is attractive, lightweight, and has a simple intuitive layout of switches and power inputs and outlets. The internal 1800 watt charger is also a game changer. You don't need to lug around an external charging brick and you can recharge the Delta 2 Max in a little over an hour. And the internal fans are quiet. After a couple of weeks of being shutdown, the Delta 2 Max still retained a state of charge of 100% - there appears to be little or no power loss when it is being stored. The app is intuitive and very easy to use. I bought the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max to power my ICECO VL90 ProD Fridge/Freezer. After 24 hours of running both sides of the ICECO as a fridge, the state of charge had only dropped to 78%. At this rate of power consumption., the EcoFlow would be able to power the fridge for 4.5 days. This is a huge improvement over the Bluetti AC200Max that I had purchased (and returned) last year. The state of charge in the Bluetti had dropped to 58% after 24 hours - implying only a 2.4 day runtime. The internal power consumption of the Bluetti AC200Max under no load was almost 1% per hour, which is exorbitant. Additionally, the Bluetti was supplied with a large external 200 watt charger. The Bluetti required about 10 hours to fully recharge, as compared to the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max which requires a little over an hour to fully recharge using its built-in 1800 watt charger. So, if you are looking for a lightweight, compact, quick charging, and easy to use power station that has the ability to power a lower wattage device over several days, the EcoFlow Delta 2 Max is the perfect choice.

Power on demand at your request. Almost perfect
The system works great, the switchover to battery is not even noticeable. Battery life is great, I use a kettle, 700w microwave and a toaster oven. It can easily operate any two of the three mentioned and lasts a few days before recharging. The only downside I have is there is no way to prevent the use of the plug power when charging. It overloads the power outlet if I'm charging over 500w and shuts down all outputs from the Ecoflow. There should be a a software switch to stop the power flow through from the house outlet and let the battery inverter power the outputs. I know there are ways around this like charging through the solar/car input but that involves buying another charger unit.
