The Three Billy Goats Gruff (Fairytale Classics)

This is a very attractive book for children.

Perfect traditional tales for 3 year olds! I have been looking for a decent version of the old tales for a long long time! Most decent ones are out of print now. As an early years teacher I am pretty (VERY) fussy about books. I was really really impressed with how well written these tales are - I now have four different ones in the series. Still keeps all the catchphrases we know and love, can be kept simple or loads to elaborate on with text, voices, illustrations, and lovely use of language, rhyme, alliteration etc etc etc! Even my husband enjoyed bedtime stories with these! Watching our little boy enraptured with these tales has been a real joy. THANKYOU!!!

I bought this to go in a baby shower hamper. The mum ro be loved it, and it is a really well illustrated book; a lovely classic story. At the time of buying it cost lest than £3 which I think is a real bargain, and it's also a great size!

This is a really lovely book. The story and writing is perfect and inline with the story from my youth and the illustrations are beautiful. My boys 3 & 4 love it and they can be quite fussy.

The children loved it

An old favourite, but as fresh as ever to young ears. Little grandson loves this soft back book and enjoys the illustrations. He has great fun trip-trapping like the billy goats, and pretending to slobber and drool like the troll, along with Ganny!

I remember having this read to me at school and now I can read it to my daughter she loves this book it’s easy to read pages a big and bright would highly recommend this book

Vibrant and colourful pictures. I use this for my SEN class and they are hooked. It is a simple version of the story and we'll presented.

I bought this for my child’s autism class, and they absolutely love the bright colored pictures and cute stories

2 issues - Book arrived late and was folded over and bent so it was damaged.

Good sized big book with pictures which capture the attention of my 3yr old grandaughter. Soft covered but as I read the story to her makes no difference to having twice as expensive hard cover. I checked out the book in utube comparing to other book adaptions of this story before buying. I recommend this book.

Nice book with beautiful pictures

Doy clase a grupos de alumnos y este tamaño fue suficiente para contarlo en grupo. No son muchas hojas y la ilustración nada fuera de lo normal, pero da mucho juego esta historia para hacer interactuar a pequeños aprendices del inglés.
