The 2 Standard TALL Black Filters go in the Top Chamber where you pour your tap water.Put a Silicone washer on the stem then Insert the screw studded stems on the Black Filters downward through the pre cut holes. Put another silicone washer on the under side of Chamber on the stem. So it should be 2 silicone washers per stem. 2 stems 4 Washers total.THEN SCREW ON THE PLASTIC BLACK WING NUT ON TO THE BLACK FILTER STEMS ON THE UNDER SIDE OF THE TOP CHAMBER. MAKE SURE THEYRE FIRM.FLORUIDE FILTER.THEN GET THE SUPPLIED FLORUIDE FILTER SILICONE WASHERS. PLACE THEN ON TOP OF THE BLACK WING NUT ON THE BLACK STEM.THEN SCREW IN THE FLOURIDE FILTERS UNDER THE TOP CHAMBER. THEY WILL SIT INSIDE THE CLEAN FILTERED WATER BOTTOM CHAMBER SO MAKE SURE THEYRE CLEAN ON THE OUTSIDE OF FILTER.DONT SCREW IN THE WHITE FLOURIDE FILTE TOO TIGHT ON THE BLACK STEM OR THE SILICONE WASHER WILL BE SQUISHED AN UNALIGNED AND NOT FORM A PROPER SEAL.

I bought this unit to use at my off-grid cabin on a mesa in Southern Colorado. We use the community well here on the mesa for all our water needs, but I wasn't confident enough to drink it. For the past couple years, we've been hauling in gallon jugs of spring water. After the price of that water doubled, and growing tired of recycling all that plastic, we decided to try a filtrations system. This system had the best reviews for the price range. After using it for a week, it's exceeded my expectations. I don't know what the few reviews describing a "chemical taste" are about. We've noted nothing at all like that. The water tastes as good as our excellent well water at our home in Northern Michigan. It filters quickly, takes up a relatively small footprint, and looks good. The stainless container is nice looking, but it is thin so care is required not to dent it, but I think that's likely true on all of them on Amazon. I would absolutely buy this unit again.A couple notes: One, we bought a second stand for it because we wanted rubber feet on it to protect our counter. The picture in the Amazon ad shows bare metal feet. But the unit does come with rubberized feet, so that's great. Second, it's important to keep the water level in the filtration up without over filling it. We keep a pitcher of drinking water on the counter. When we fill the pitcher, we replace that same amount in the filtration chamber. The product description clearly states that overfilling it will cause leaks.

I've never had a system like this and very turned off by taste. I can't even ask questions on this filter to try and find the reason it's nasty. Old filters? Ran water through it 6xs with no better result.Edit to add, I took filters out to try to clean again and see damage to 1. I put the other back in and it taste better. Hope the seller will replace the damaged 1 IF I can make contact.Edit to add customer support contacted me with great help. Changing my rating.

So far so good. Easy to assemble. The only downfall for me is I wish you could fill top chamber too so that more filtered water was available. Maybe I needed a bigger size? If you fill the top chamber it leaks out the sides. Directions clearly state this but I tried anyway. If you follow the assemble directions and fill only so bottom chamber is full then no issues. Seems to be made real well!

Assembly is easy, but in box instructions are poorly written and do not include web address of contact Phone number. Email from the Company with additional instructions about usage just prior to receiving product was very helpful.

Very nice setup. Surprisingly small box but turned into a great unit. It took about 20 minutes to set up and fill with water. Tastes great and I can see me saving a lot bottled water.

The water is crisp, clean and taste amazing! We love that it’s small and we can take it on travel trips and can filter water that isn’t clean thru it if we ever needed to!

Bought to use in my RV. Larger than expected but workable. 4 stars because the lip of the lid and bottom container is not completely rolled and has a rough inner edge. I am hoping that will not allow it to rust. Getting the spigot washers seated tightly enough is quite difficult. I don't have a small enough wrench to use it inside the barrel. My experience with camping filters assures me that any off taste will quickly disappear. Also, there were 2 silicone corks included but not shiwn in illustration or mentioned in instructions. Wonder what they are for.
