Excellent for indoor use
This hutch is a good design, well made and was easy to assemble. Assembly took me about 15 minutes; I used an electric screwdriver which made it trivial. The size is perfect, it actually seems bigger that it appeared. The base has a washable, plastic liner which is slightly concave too, preventing the woodwork from getting wet. The entrance between the two sections is nice and wide. Both sides have a hinged lid. The only problem I had was the plastic covering of the perspex panels which was hard to pull off, but I ran a blade around the edges to do that. I bought this for indoor use, I don't think it would be good outdoors since rain would accumulate in the base. Overall, excellent product and I might buy another.

a lot of room to roam
it’s a really great enclosure, especially for the price. i’ve found that with a lot of reptile enclosures people tend to bump up the price for no reason and it ends up just being a little wooden box. but this is spacious, very convenient, and it looks great. my tortoise loves it!

Good
The media could not be loaded. It is good in function and appearance. Would have been perfect with an elevation/stand. Managing outdoors especially in the rain. The lock is a bit unstable/easily broken. The tray could be removable for easier cleaning.

Horrible smell
I got this a few hours ago. It was easy to assemble on my own but the wood is not very good (it splinters easily) and I’ll keep it in an employ room with the window open for a few days until I get my tortoise. I hope the pungent smell will be gone by then because I don’t feel comfortable having a tortoise in there, especially the closed sleeping area. The whole room stinks right now.On the other hand, it is a good size, I didn’t receive anything broken or missing.
