Trimmed up my baby goats hooves and they did real good. Slid through them like scissors on parchment paper. Of course they're still babies and their hooves don't really harden until they out of the nursery pen (in our barn), the real challenge is going to be trimming their skittish momma's hooves. She's such a brat. I've been testing the clippers on tougher materials and they do the job. The clip closes and locks with ease. It's light but it's got enough weight so it doesn't feel cheap. I see some folks fuss about dull blades, I always sharpen my new blades for 2 hours straight out the package to make sure the angle is right, test the springs every 30 minutes with a couple of squeezes and oil it up if it feels too stiff. It's held up real good while testing. They were already covered in an odorless, greasy substance which I'm not complaining, the seller did that step for me so thank you. 😁 I will be back if/when these break.

I used these to prune my garden before I moved. It worked wonderfully for tomatoes and peppers. I even used them to prune roses. Now I use them to clip cactus pedals, aloe very leaves, and anything else on my indoor plants that need pruning. I've had them for years, a little rust now, but they handle well! I'd definitely order them again if mine were ever to become unusable.

I'm a rookie goat owner and decided to trim my goats (we have 2 dwarf Nigerians) hooves myself. After a watching a few YouTube and Ehow videos, I purchased these sheers. I've never used another product (which is why I only gave them 4 stars....as I have nothing to compare them against) but they worked great. Easy to use, sharp and neatly cut through the excess hoof material. For my first time, I think I did a pretty good job and am sure that the Zenport sheers get to take most of the credit. They were easy to hold, grin and maneuver, even with a wriggling goat.

We needed a hoof trimming tool for our Nigerian Dwarf Goats so we gave these a try because other reviewers recommended them for this use. We have used this tool to trim our goats’ hooves and found them to be easy to grip and sharp enough to trim. Although I can’t speak to the long term durability of the tool yet, we will definitely be able to use them for our goats at least the next couple of trims based on this experience. They are durable so far! I thought these trimmers were a great value because they are easy to use, sharp enough to trim hooves, and a nice hand held size.

I despise trimming our Nigerian Dwarf goats hooves. However this works and makes it much easier than other tools I have tried. It works well.

Love these trimmers .Bought first pair for trimming goats hooves .Very sharp ,does great job of trimming ,only thing is the end of the shears is very pointed an sharp ,but I just took a file an filed down the sharp edge .I love them so much I bought another pair for use in my garden .
