The first camera I ordered wouldn't power up so I returned it and got another one right away. The instructions aren't real clear but when I realized that I needed to put in my modem password before it could sync with my phone it paired up to my phone right away. The picture quality is really good. It shows almost the whole room. I can clearly see what is going on. My brother was babysitting my dog, his phone had died and we were able to talk to each other on the camera with him sitting in his chair across the room from it. Very easy to understand. I got a new puppy so am using it to check on the dogs when I'm away from home. Gives great piece of mind and works well with my iPhone. The night vision camera is just as clear but in black and white. Amazing quality once you get past the instructions.

New update- After two months the power cord needs to be held at an angle to keep the cameras on. Both were mounted and plugged in so they weren’t damaged at any time. I no longer recommend this product.Update- We just purchased a second camera (used via Amazon fulfillment), to use a baby monitor for our daughters bedroom. Setup was a breeze and I had the camera wall mounted and connected to the WiFi in until 5 minutes. At night I just bring up the app on my iPad and let it continuously run all night.We bought this camera to watch our dog in his kennel. We discovered he had been barking and wanted to be able to speak to him to calm him down. This camera is outstanding! It’s even better quality than our baby monitor and I will be looking at purchasing another for our daughters room.

I've been using this product for two years now. Actually, 7 of them. I have one camera mounted by every critical point of entry into my home, as well as some interior home coverage. Yes, the advertised features work very well. And for the price, I cant imagine much better. Two cautionary notations....If your camera doesn't pair with your home's wifi, and I've had this problem, make sure you haven't mixed factory with non-factory equipment. For instance, the charger provided seems to be the only one that works well. Even introducing a longer, non-factory, USB charging cable might cause a pairing problem.Also, motion detection can be spotty, depending upon where your camera is specially aimed. Mount it, test it, then adjust if needed. It's not difficult, and the effort is worthwhile. Your video alerts (to your phone app) are only activated when motion is detected.Clever Dog also offers a wireless outdoor camera. Not sold on Amazon but it's worth looking for. Weather proof, with more robust night vision, it's worth considering.

I purchased camera to check on my crated puppy when I’m away from home or when I’m in another room. The night night vision works superb! I can check to see if he’s awake. I can see his eyes glowing as he blinks. Lol The video is black and white at night and in color during the day.The camera was easy to set up. I like that I have the option of using the cloud or SD card.I recommend you decide at time of purchase if you’re going to pay the monthly fee to save videos to the cloud or the storage card. You won’t have to wait for the SD card to be delivered. You can still view live footage, but won’t save video.I plan to buy a couple more for other rooms to watch him as he roams the house.

The camera works very well. Picture is clear and in real time. I love being able to check on my pets while i am at work. However, when i try to talk to them it has a severe echo and feed back. It sounds horrible and you cant make out a human voice. I have tried moving it to a different location and its the same. I also havent had any luck finding any support with trying to connect to the cloud. I just get a network error and there is no info in the manual. This is why i gave it 3 stars.

We've had our cameras set up for two days and really enjoy them! It's nice knowing exactly what the dogs are up to while we're out of the house.Pros:-- Given the price, I'm very impressed with the picture quality, including night-vision function.-- The two-way talk feature is great; we did some testing and the person speaking comes through loud and clear.-- Navigating between multiple cameras in the app is simple and easy.-- Setup is quick and easy as well, just make sure you allow the app to access your location first.Cons:-- Audio through the app. If you use the two-way talk feature (or just want to listen in), be aware that the audio will not play through wireless headphones and there's no way to adjust the volume level. For me, this is unfortunate because I can't use those features while I'm at the office, it's too disruptive. I hope they fix this issue in an application update.Overall, very please with this purchase, highly recommend.

I bought these cameras before and loved them. They fell off my wall and broke (that was my fault) ended up getting them replaced a couple years later and it’s like a whole new product in the worst way. Not sure if they sold the company to someone else but I’d stay far far away from these cameras. They never connect to my phone anymore, have to watch ads now before getting live feed. Just an overall horrible product that used to be so good and affordable.

Used to work, can no longer connect (or delete device and reconnect), or reset. Can't really do anything more with it anymore. App requires you to click though multiple adds just to use the app. Time to move on to something else.Not recommending.
