Pouring protein powder
A good clean product . A little pricy, but you pay for the quality. I get vanilla so I can add things like blueberries, strawberries, or make a mocha out of it, a little coffee and cacao powder and a little honey. I have ordered this before as well, chocolate flavor is good for chocolate lovers.

Love it! Winning for clean protein powder, no lead/ pesticides
LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It has demonstrated a superior profile compared to alternative protein powders I've tried. Specifically, it offers a balanced sweetness (very mild) and a smooth texture, without any lingering aftertaste. The product's versatility allows for easy integration with other ingredients, such as yogurt and fruits, to achieve a desirable consistency without an over powering flavor. Following a month of use, noticeable improvements have been observed. Furthermore, the product's commitment to purity is noteworthy, as it is free from lead and pesticides, a significant differentiator in the market. For further validation, we recommend consulting the Clean Project testing data for protein powder products.

Tastes great but foamy!
This protein powder tastes better than and other I have tried so far. There are some things to be aware of that are personal preferences, like how much foam it produces. Some may not like that it makes the protein shakes light and airy, however, I don’t mind it because it still tastes great. Also, the mixability is an issue unless you are using a blender. Stirring with a spoon or shaker bottle doesn’t break it up enough. Overall this protein is great because of its quality ingredients and taste. Just be aware of these other potential issues that are personal preferences but not deal breakers. Rating it a solid 4 stars!

My new favorite!
I’ve been trying to find a protein powder that’s clean, and this is it! My only con: it gets super foamy when you use a blender bottle. There’s worse things than that though, in my opinion. It dissolves well though! Pros: it’s clean label certified, GMP quality assured, 3rd party tested, non-gmo, no pesticides, no hormones, only 5 ingredients, 21g per scoop, AND it tastes good! I personally have not experienced any stomach upset. I do feel like this helps my muscle recovery and I will be purchasing more in the near future. Well done on a clean protein!

I wanted to love this
I wanted to love this protein powder. I liked how it had minimal ingredients and all I could pronounce. I liked that it was third party tested and had the “Clean Label Project” stamp. Other reviews said it wasn’t overly sweet and the biggest issue was the blending. My take: It was bland. It says vanilla but I didn’t taste vanilla, all I could taste was everything else I added. It wasn’t overly sweet because it wasn’t sweet at all. I added honey every day just to choke it down and I choked it down because it isn’t cheap for a 30 day supply. I mixed it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and just used a shaker cup, no clumping but definitely some weird foam, kinda of like dirty sea water foam. No digestive issues with it and it did satiate my hunger for several hours. If you want a protein shake with flavor, this is not for you.

You get what you pay for. Some things are more important than money.
I've lifted weights for a good chunk of my life, but fell off the wagon. Recently I started back up along with taking protein supplements. One day I stumbled across the "Clean Label" project as I was researching other products. I was amazed to find that the protein powder I had been taking for years (a well-known, name brand) had rated very poorly for BPAs (a known endocrine disruptor). Basically, this is a chemical commonly found in many plastics that is linked to cancer and developmental disorders. I was taken aback. This wasn't even the worst of all of the proteins. Some had neurotoxic mercury, lead, or even just didn't have the advertised amount of protein in them. Maybe I shouldn't have been too surprised - the entire supplement industry is not regulated by the FDA. So, I went onto the clean label project's list of best proteins, and found this: Puori's PW1 Vanilla Whey Powder. It was expensive...double what I paid for a 2lb jug of my previous, however you can't put a price on what you put into your body. The quality is great. It tastes excellent by itself, even better if you don't mind combining your shake in a blender with fruit (like bananas). It's vanilla - which means it's also neutral enough be combined with your favorite recipes for an extra protein zip. It blends well even in a basic shaker cup...not chalky, or clumpy like some others -- and yes, I've tried a lot over 15 years...I can count 20+ different brands off the top of my head...this is pretty good. I buy it though because it's been independently tested to have what it claims to, and NOT give me lead poisoning (it's funny we have to even say that, thanks Congress/FDA). I buy it because there are only 5 ingredients in it. My ONLY criticism besides the price is the lack of flavors. I would really like to see a banana cream version of this, so I don't have to spike my protein shakes with the sugar from actual bananas. Keep doing what you're doing Puori!

Puori vs Naked Protein....Wanted to love it, but couldn't
I compared Puori Whey Protein Powder - Bourbon Vanilla - PW1 Pasture Raised Non-GMO - 100% Natural and Pure with Naked Protein Powder Blend - Egg, Whey and Casein Protein Blend. After reading the glowing reviews about the ingredients, Puori seemed like a slam dunk. I didn't see an ingredient list on the listing which I thought was odd. I asked what the ingredients were and quickly received a response "The ingredients are actually on the back of the Puori Whey Protein Pouch right beside the nutrition facts" The ingredients list image does not list all of the ingredients and the nutrition image posted on Amazon does not show the ingredients portion. Instead, the image on Amazon lists "Whey Protein, Sugar, Bourban Vanilla..." I had to go to Puori's website to get the actual ingredients which are: Pasture Raised whey protein concentrate (WPC) (milk), Organic coconut palm sugar, natural flavor, Vanilla seeds, Vanilla powder (Gum arabic, Vanilla extract). I'll get back to the Gum Arabic later. I do question why a healthy food product company omits the ingredients list on their listing? Anyways, on to the taste test. I mixed 8 ounces of milk with the recommended scoop of Puori in a blender for about 30 seconds. I did the same with Naked Protein. The Puori was slightly on the sweet side. It had a silky almost strange gooey texture to it. The flavor was fine, a bit sweeter than it needs to be in my opinion. But I couldn't get over the strange silk/gooey texture. I am convinced this odd texture is a result of the Gum Arabic. I would love to hear from Puori about this ingredient. If mixed in with your favorite smoothie ingredients, you most likely will not notice a difference in texture. Wikipedia says "The gum is harvested commercially from wild trees, mostly in Sudan (80%) and throughout the Sahel, from Senegal to Somalia." "Gum arabic is a complex polysaccharide and soluble dietary fibre that is generally recognized as safe for human consumption. An indication of harmless flatulence occurs in some people taking large doses of 30 g (1 oz) or more per day." On to Naked Protein- This product displays their actual ingredients list: ONLY FOUR INGREDIENTS: 100% Grass-Fed Pure Whey from Northern California, Micellar Casein from US & Canadian farms, Egg Whites protein from US farm eggs and Sunflower Lecithin to aid mixing. Naked tasted bland, which I am okay with because I prefer to add my own flavor, berries, a few drops of honey, etc.. I read from other users that it foamed up quite a bit. This was my experience as well. This can be countered by mixing your other ingredients into your smoothie first, and then adding Naked towards the end with a shorter blending time. Cost wise, Puori $58 Naked $26 I paid full price for both products, did not receive any discounts or freebies.

Not worth it
Whey overpriced and overrated. Yes, it doesn't have the fake sweetness of other protein powders but it tastes like what it is. Whey. There is barely a hint of chocolate flavor as evidenced by the very light, color that is nowhere near chocolate and more like a very pale beige. I feel stupid for believing the hype. Save your money, buy plain whey
