Does this produce an ozone?

Our purifier produces very small and safe amounts of ozone when the ionizer feature is turned on. The Hathaspace Smart True HEPA Air Purifier is UL-certified and has met all of the safety and ozone requirements set by CARB (California Air Resources Board). Filter Replacement every year or ?

This is a general recommendation based on the average household air quality and is not always speciﬁc to each customer’s needs.
