Outstanding value
I’m not a huge Bond enthusiast. I remember the excitement of going to the cinema in 1963 to watch the first Bond film, Dr No and sneaking in as I was under age. It was incredible, so different to any other film at that time and From Russia was even better. Those two have stayed with me as classic Bond and I’ve watched a few others over the years, marvelling at the effects etc which are surpassed every time.I couldn’t resist this boxed set. I’ve seen many at two and three times the price. This worked out at around a £1 a film and I think that’s extraordinary value. It’s compact, minimalist in design with white cover and casings, but the discs take up very little room. All films from Dr No to Skyfall and an amazing boxed set.

Excellent collection
Contains all of the mainstream James Bond films from Dr. No to Spectre. Obviously does not contain the latest No Time to Die, nor the remake of Thunderball (No Time To Die) nor the spoof version of Casino Royale (starring David Niven et al.)

Cinema's most prolific spy...
(I recently covered every Bond film included in this set as part of a December marathon on my own film & TV review site, writing in-depth pieces for each one of them - if you're interested, the link is in my Amazon profile)The Bond series is another of those film franchises I'd had barely any experience with up until I bought this set, and as a Film Studies student at uni I couldn't let that continue. I made it my New Year's Resolution to watch every Bond film included in this set by the end of the year, and also review each one for my film & TV review blog. And I did it! As said, if you're interested in my thoughts about specific films you can find them through the link in my profile. Here though, it'd make more sense to talk about this actual set itself. From the outside, the presentation of it is quite nice, with an appealing minimalist design. Inside however, it takes minimalism to the extreme. The discs are spread out across three separate cases, and as far as reducing packaging and saving on shelf space is concerned, this is a great idea. The covers for each one leave a lot to be desired though, and look as though they've been printed on the cheap. The contents of the discs themselves vary depending on the film, and as to be expected, most of them are just the same as their individual vanilla releases. Again, from the outside it looks quite nice and clean-cut, and the packaging does help save on shelf space compared to how bulky a release like this could've been. There's an awful lot of content in here, and at the price I bought it for it equalled out to about just over £1 per film. But even at the more standard price of £40, for more than fifty years worth of films I think it's a reasonable price and definitely worth it for any Bond fan out there.

Perfect, apart from broken cases
The box set arrived yesterday, and we've already watched Dr. No. This is going to keep us busy for quite some time.Overall impressed with the packaging and video quality of the one movie we've watched so far.Less impressed that the spines in both of the 10 disc cases are broken at the bottoms, leaving the discs that are on them flapping about (though still attached to the case) when flicked through. Not annoying enough to return it, but still an irritation that costs a star, and something I'd have to declare if I ever resold it, probably reducing its value. No signs of any abuse to the Amazon package that I received, which was also well padded inside. I suspect it's been part of a pallet that was dropped, at some point.

BOND
I haven't seen a lot of these films for a long time. I like many others will remember seeing them almost every weekend as a kid. It's a shame they don't do that anymore. It was kind of fun sitting down and watching them with my parents. So I decided to get these for my son as he likes to put something on the TV before he goes to bed. We've really enjoyed watching them together and he has become a big Bond fan.

Better price for Bond film canon than I was expecting!
I have always wanted to see all the official James Bond films from Dr No to Spectre in full. Thanks to Amazon who are cheaper than Argos by £15. Great viewing as I am a fan of the Dalton and Craig eras as those two actors were true to Fleming's Bond but love the Moore and Connery ones too. Lazenby and Brosnan are another story. Well worth the price. Please don't expect Never say never again and Casino Royale '67 to be included, as these aren't part of The Bubby Broccoli canon... For Bond Fans Only on Facebook is a great source of information on the series...
