The perfect small, rugged UV light. It feels weighty and solid in the hand. It turned right on when I opened it. I just wish it were a little brighter for using it in brightly lit places where you can’t turn the lights off. It’s super easy to turn on and focus though, and I love that it’s small enough that I can attach it to my keys for hunting for uranium glass in thrift shops. It also shows dust and residue very well so I could see it being perfect for finding uncleaned spots in hotels, bathrooms, etc. It also just looks cool and tactical attached to your keys. It doesn’t seem to get too hot either, just slightly warm. I highly recommend this mini UV flashlight for glass collectors, mechanics, or inspectors, just be aware that it’s not as bright as high grade ones and performs best in the dark.

This review is for a DARKBEAM UV 365nm Light Wood's lamp Blacklight Ultraviolet Flashlight. I purchased this to help test if sunscreen is UV blocking and it did a wonderful job of helping me eliminate sunscreen in my home that is not UV blocking or has expired. It's also handy for helping find pet stains that need to be cleaned up. It works on wood, tile, carpet, cloth and skin. The UV light is incredibly strong but make sure to do this in a dark room and do not shine it in your eyes! The torch is the perfect size to carry around without being bulky, has a really well enforced clip with strong screws to keep it in place and the button to activate it is easy to push. The torch is heavy but because it's made from heavy duty metal, but not burdensome. The design of the light is perfect and it fits in my hand easily while being able to push the button easily. I'd recommend this to anyone! My photos show the UV light in use as well as the overall design of it.

Great little UV light. Not particularly powerful but adequately in the UV light band to be useful for what it’s supposed to do. Need a small handheld or pocketed UV light? It’s perfect.

I won't speak to the longevity of this product because I've only had it for a few days. I bought it to detect ringworm on some adopted kittens. On their "free" visit to the vet, she pointed out that the hairless spots were ringworm. She gave me medicated shampoo and lotion from treatment. All good. The vet insisted I had to return to get it checked regularly, and I won't bother to mention that it would have been very expensive. So I did some research and found out about the "woods lamp" which is actually just a 365nm UV lamp. I bought this and then waited to check the kittens. I had been treating them but was told they had to remain in quarantine until the follow up visit. Obviously, this is tough on the kittens so I want to get them out as soon as the infection clears. Using this little flashlight, I can tell you the infection glows bright green. It is very very easy to spot. Nothing else on the cat will fluoresce green. The bad news is that after a week, one spot still remains. It looks like it's improving, but with daily checks with this little flashlight, I'll be able to unquarantine them ASAP. The build quality is excellent. It takes an AA battery which is fine by me since I don't really plan on using this too much. I think they also make a rechargeable one as well, but I'd rather just have a battery I can pop in when I need the light. The spot light feature works extremely well. The flashlight feels like it's good quality as well. Overall a great purchase.

Confirmed my fears. I thought the stray kitten i got yesterday possibly had ringworm. This light confirmed it.

This is a very good product. It has a sturdy aluminum casing, is well designed, and easy to use. It requires only one AA battery. By narrowing the focus beam, I'm able to see objects at least 10 feet away. It easily deserves a 5 star rating.

Worked great the for the first couple uses but today we pulled it out and it stopped working after about 2 minutes. None of the troubleshooting works. Only been used a handful of times.

I used it for identifying uranium glass and flouresent minerals, works good seen to the price.

The package was delivered late when compared to the original promised delivery date ! but I honestly don't have any complaints for that since this was shipped from US and customs clearance would definitly take time. Quality of the product is really nice and it's a solid well built product

The light has almost nothing to do with the UV 365nm. In practice, it is useless. You can see something but this ism not what you would expect from the flashlight that claims to be UV 365
