Good for school
Bought this to practice for school and it was worth it

Real hair but a few strands melted
I think some of the chemical process it went through was rough and adding heat to it melted the hair.

Cosmetolgy in training
The hair is nice but it is not real hair! I was ironing the hair at 300 and it started to fall out ! its good for updo styling and colorist but not ironing or tools

Wonderful
Its probably my favorite mannequin that I have. When it first arrived, the hair was just as long as advertised and very thick too. The hair lays nicely and it's easy to cut. the face is beautiful and it's got these cool 3D eyes. It's very distinct and I'm the only one at my cosmetology school with this kind so I know which one is mine. It's honestly a miracle I found a mannequin like this one because lots of the other ones I've gotten online were either thinning or the length of the hair was much shorter than they said it would be. Very reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend.

For your first practice head, its good.
This is the first mannequin I bought with my own money. I think its nice that it comes with a stand. I did have to trim like 5 inches off mine as soon as I got it because it was thin on the ends. Its a good mannequin to chop up for practice but if you are trying to cut bangs and get them to stay, I probably would look for a more professional mannequin

Try it out!
The hair on the mannequin is enough to do your state board test. But it did need a little trim at the ends because I was able to see through them... other than that it was fine. The total amount of thickness wasn’t much it was towards the thinner side but worth the price.

Tiny head and a pink face!?!?
I just opened the Amazon box and noticed right off that the box for the head was small. The mannequin head itself is about half the size of a normal head and the color of the face is pink. You can’t tell the face is pink in the photo but it definitely is. I get that the color of the face isn’t a big deal but it just screams cheap. It’s also really thin and has very little hair. This is ridiculous and makes me feel like I’ve been ripped off
