Really on the fence about this one...there's a lot going on here
I was so intrigued by this, I was really eager to try it. First of all, this is a LARGE container so you are definitely getting your money's worth and it should last a good while.I think I just need to find the right things to use this with. I tried this on it's own to get a better feeling for what I would want to use it with and it is definitely cherry cola- I have to give some props for accuracy though. The description is true in that there is tart cherry, a bit of sweet, a bit of heat, and a bit of cola, and salt. I really like cherry and I found that it was borderline too much in this for me. I think in the right recipe it could work but it definitely needs something with a bit of fat to compliment the tartness and slight fruitiness. On its own, I can almost guarantee that this will be a really divisive seasoning. For anyone who hates cherry or tart cherry, steer clear of this for them.Bottom line though: this is a really unique seasoning. It's almost like a savory cherry cola as weird as that sounds. I need to spend some more time experimenting with this a bit more but it definitely has potential. It is very fresh and is also a great size for the price.

Very flavorful!
The rub gives meat a sweet and smoky flavor - complex and delicious. I let it set for about 30 minutes before grilling with the rub on it. Lots going on in the flavor, yes, a bit of cherry, a bit of cola, a lot of bbq ... a fun rub.

mostly sugar
It's weird, but in a good way. It's also very, very, very sweet. It is sugar with other added flavors, so keep that in mind. It's a bit too sweet to become a favorite for me, but it definitely has it's place making pork more interesting (I found that the flavor clashed with chicken). It very much tastes like a super sweet cherry cola, and will be a big hit with a soda lover in your life. But I'm not sure for those who aren't soda obsessed if this will be worth a try (I love soda, so this is fun to have on hand for sure)

Awesome
This is probably my new favorite seasoning. Tried it on a steak last night and it was outstanding. Would probably be even better for ribs or pork in general.Would highly recommend! At least try it, you'll love it.

Tastes like a salty cola
This seasoning definitely tastes like cola, and salty. The cherry was much less prominent. This made an interesting rub on pork ribs, giving them a salty/ sweet carmelized surface. The last picture on this listing says "no artificial ingredients" right next to the ingredient list that shows there is artificial cherry flavor in the mix. I'm not a fan of artificial stuff in my food, nor of inaccurate claims!

Excellent Pork Rub!
This may be my new go to rub for when I smoke my pork butts or shoulders. This gives the pork an excellent flavor that pairs well with smoke. It gives the meat an excellent sweet flavor while adding a pleasant color to the smoked meat. I am guessing this is largely due to the paprika and beet powder. I could have just served this pork UN-sauced and it would have been great, but it tasted even better with a spicy barbecue sauce.

Great smell and flavor
Opening this up you sure can smell the cherry and it does have that cherry cola taste to it. It is a really nice size container for the price. It does have a lot of salt in it so use sparingly and don't over do it like I did the first time using this. I should have lightly sprinkled it instead of totally covering it. Beside my cooking mistake you have a good product here and would recommend.

Not for me.
I had high hopes for this rub, but it is really not all that great to my taste buds. It has kind of an unpleasant artificial cherry flavor that is more reminiscent of cherry ChapStick or candy than cherry cola.To be fair, I made an entire 10 pound boston butt using this rub, along with some cooked down cherry cola and some cherry preserves. While not award winning flavor, not terrible either. Smoked pork shoulder is probably going to be good regardless of what kind of rub you use, and thankfully, this rub was not so overpowering that the pork couldn't be salvaged. In the end, I don't think I would buy this rub again. I could see where a cherry soda pork or chicken dish could work, but I would approach it in a different manner than this kind of rub.
