Holds fine hair too!
Only a small amount is needed. I’ve been using it for a few days and only need a very small amount and get amazing hold wherever I need it. It’s worked on fine hair and women can use it too! I put a small amount where my roots were laying flat and it helped hold the lift and gave the area a more voluminous look. Perfect for styling my partner’s hair and held way better than I expected without making his hair feel crunchy or super sticky. Ingredient list is a bonus - has biotin, green tea leaf extract, saw palmetto and aloe. Once you get it in your hair and style let it set for a bit - don’t touch. If you want a specific style held then you definitely don’t want to touch it right away. It will leave some residue behind if you keep touching your hair or comb through it once it’s dried, but this is normal for holding gels and pomades. Great product and ingredient list and doesn’t have a strong fragrance, but instead just has a very faint pleasant scent. I’d purchase again! Worked perfectly on my partner’s fine thinning hair and held the style all day until he washed it out.

Works well for thin straight hairs.
I find this stuff to work the best for my thinning straight hairs. I have tried so many different hair products from different brands, from texture such as paste, cream, gel, pomade, etc., and I find that this product and this texture works the best for me. It dries quickly and offers decent hold, it also doesn't weigh my hair down and it adds a little volume to it so this is great for guys with thin hairs. You just need to apply a very little amount (dime size) and spread it evenly on your palms before applying it onto your hair. I would recommend this product for anyone out there with thin straight hair. 4 stars for now because I haven't used this product long enough to really see its full potential, Will update when the time comes but for now, it's my go-to hair product.

Too much hold
Stuff is way too thick and smelly. I'm going to use it all and then that'll be it. It isn't greasy, it has good durability, but the hold is just too much to do anything with. If they had a product that was odorless (which is better than smelling like a saddle) and less hold I'd get it.

Keep Looking - You don't want this
Three points about this product you should know:1. received product on 3/21/25.product manf. date: 09/28/23product expiration date: 09/28/26Product lost 1/2 of life sitting on shelf...Thanks for sending fresh product...?2. After putting a very small amount on hands and trying to "warm it" in my hands as directed the product just becomes a white gooey mess coating my hands...it was impossible to style my hair with. It might work if I had a buzz cut but I have medium length hair this just doesn't work.3. The smell off this product set my allergies off...So, spend your money on something else...This is a hard pass.

The strong hold version is nearly perfect for me
My hair has thinned (but there's still enough to have a halfway decent style) and I liked the normal hold version of this but I wished it had just a little more hold to it. When I saw there was a strong hold version I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did: The strong hold is nearly perfect for me and it does not leave my hair cruchy or stiff. It spreads through the hair very easily unlike some clays and other products. I like that it has caffeine, biotin, and saw palmetto extract to possibly help slow hair thinning or at least make me feel better about the product I'm putting in my hair. : )

So Far So Good
[UPDATE] After about a week of using this pomade, I think I've changed my mind about it being possibly better than Keeps pomade. It's still good and much cheaper than Keeps, but Keeps seems to be more oil-based, which means it's harder to wash out but it makes my hair softer, smoother, and less frizzy, plus it's more workable throughout the day.In contrast, this stuff dries really fast (which is good if that's what you're looking for), making it limp and frizzy almost right away, and it FEELS dry. For me, I think I'll stick with Keeps, even though it's more expensive.[ORIGINAL REVIEW] My very early impressions are good. I was using Keeps pomade before, but I think I like this stuff better. The ingredients between the two are the same (except Follicle Booster adds aloe vera), but the formula seems a little different. This stuff has a smoother and lighter consistency that makes it easier to work with, but the hold is just as good. Smell is obviously subjective, but I think it smells good. Keeps has a mellow, masculine scent, while this stuff has a stronger, citrus smell. What I like most about both Follicle Booster and Keeps pomade is they don't have any potentially harmful ingredients (except possibly petrolatum, but that's a can of worms I'm not knowledgeable enough to open right now). So if you're not sure which to get, both are great options, I think, but Follicle Booster is cheaper for the same (if not slightly better) styling effect.I can't speak on its effectiveness at hair growth. I suspect there isn't enough full-on contact with the scalp for the growth ingredients to really be effective, but at least the ingredients won't promote further hair loss.
