Fun and sexy with a whole lot of heart, I loved this book! I feel like it’s an ode to all the hopeless romantics and dreamers out there. Full of cliches and cheese, I simply adored this serendipitous romance. It was heartwarming, funny, sweet, smart and extremely compelling. Heartfelt and emotional, I adored Charlie and William’s second chance love story.Charlie and William have a whirlwind meet-cute at a diner 6 years prior. Their little meet cute lasts a week until William disappears. That is, until William shows up as a new hire in her family's crisis management company. They both left a lasting impression and they never forgot about each other.I was immediately caught up in Charlie and William’s story. Their past history, their unresolved story and obvious connection and undeniable chemistry kept me in my chair, Kindle in hand until I read to the very last word. I completely fell in love with their story, the entertaining cast of secondary characters, and all the ways this hit my emotions.Every word of this second chance romance gives you feels! I honestly couldn’t get enough. Great characters, great moments of angst, and even greater moments of swoon. An easy, feel good, sexy, slow-burn love story, it was exactly what I was looking for. Ella Maise delivered an addictive, passionate romance in Charlie, Love and Cliches that I simply did not want to put down.

This was so cute! It was definitely fluffy but with a little bit of spice.Whenever I read an office romance the hero is always grumpy however the hero in this book was not and it was good to see a different male hero, he was a cinnamon roll!Charlie and Willam met a year ago, they used to hang with each other but one day Willam stood Charlie up and they never talked again, until William is working at Charlie’s job and that’s how they reconnect, I loved that they were friends first, friends to lovers is always a good trope.I hated Charlie’s family so much! They belittled her every chance they got, and I loved that at the end of the book she stood up for herself!Also I loved Pepp, Charlie was such a good owner, it warmed my heart.I adored this read!

I loved every morsel of this book. I haven’t devoured a book in a long time but I somehow knew I would with this one. I loved Charlie and her sweet quirks, she wasn’t over the top or embarrassing, she was genuine and fun. I also loved our slightly grumpy William! But also loved that when he fell he wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted.If you love those amazing romcoms that we all love to rewatch because of its cozy New York setting, it’s sweet and funny heroines and our grumpy heroes, you will LOVE this book!

I enjoyed this book. I have been looking forward to it for a long time. I loved the characters, the supporting characters, the story. The only thing was the ending. It felt rushed. I am hoping she adds an epilogue.

I missed a good Ella Maise slow buuuuuurn. Charlie is such a cute, shy, heroine - I loved her personality & mannerisms. Will compliments her perfectly & the banter is just fluffy, sweet, spicy, off the charts. I was in love with the dialogue between these two.

By the time I was done reading this book, I had a cheesy smile on my face, and I say that rather proudly. Because in as much as I'm not a fan of cheese, I can't deny that cheesy in terms of love and romance is one of my guilty pleasures. I adored the heck out of Charlie and William, and I couldn't get enough of either of them. Plus, let's not forget Pepperoni, formerly known as Duke and lovingly nicknamed Pepp! Charlie, Love and Clichés was a great story about standing up for yourself and taking a second chance at true love. Five stars!

It’s been a bit a bit of time since Ella’s last book was published and so I was very excited when she announced this book release. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The dialogue and chemistry between the characters was my favorite part about this book. Loved reading their story unfold.

I’ve waited for this book for a long time. It was very enjoyable. I liked the buildup between the main characters. The ending felt a little rushed. No explanation to some final questions and no epilogue.

Com um romance slow burn, Ella Maise me deixou completamente cativada pelo relacionamento desses personagens, que gostam de se provocar, que sempre procuram um ao outro com o olhar e estão lá quando o outro precisa. Uma das coisas que mais amei é que eles são sinceros um com o outro sobre seus sentimentos e o que eles querem para o futuro individualmente, e nem sempre encontramos isso em romances.Charlie tem um relacionamento complicado com seu pai e irmã, com quem ela trabalha, o que a faz ter vontade de se mudar o mais rápido possível para bem longe deles. Eu me vi muitas vezes querendo gritar com essas pessoas que deveriam ser um apoio para Charlie, mas sempre tinham uma crítica, principalmente o pai que fala até do peso dela. Tudo o que Charlie quer é amor, e vemos isso quando ela adota o Pepperoni, um cachorro que torna seus dias mais felizes. William não gosta nada da forma como a família de Charlie a trata, ele não entende como eles podem ser assim com uma pessoa tão amável como ela.Eu só não dei nota máxima para esse livro porque senti falta de pelo menos um epílogo, achei o final um pouco abrupto, e eu queria muito ver o que aconteceu com eles depois de algum tempo.

William and Charlie were everything. This book made me laugh and cry and swoon and I loved every second. Could not put it down
