Beautiful green, not olive. Bright flavor. Expensive, but you pay for what you get. Bet there's only about 1/3 cup in the bag. Will purchase a cheaper variety for making matcha frappes for a crowd. But for special tea occasions or a latte with that one special friend it's worth it. I mean, if you're on a budget. If I were wealthy I'd probably splurge to treat a whole bunch of good folks with this. The more, the merrier!

This was my first matcha powder I purchased and I was very pleasantly surprised. I appreciate that it's organic and it tastes very fresh. I also love that it makes me feel slightly energized and doesn't give me jittery caffeine high that a lot of coffees do. The size is great to try a bunch of matchas however you like them before committing to a fuller size container. I've only tried this in iced matchas, but they are delicious! I don't know how this would taste in hot matchas, but I know the cool refreshing temperature of an iced matcha fits the flavor profile of this one well. My only complaint is that I feel like it takes a lot of scoops of this stuff to get a good matcha flavor. The serving size is I believe 1/4 tsp or 1/2 tsp, and I probably use 2-4 tbsps to get a good flavor. However, I do like a pronounced and distinct matcha flavor so if you like something more subtle this would be perfect for you. Overall, it's a fantastic product!

I don’t want to spend premium dollar on ceremonial grade matcha for my everyday cup, but I also don’t want to completely cheap out on quality in favor of quantity. This product is a good balance of quality and price. I appreciate that the matcha powder itself is bright green and fragrant unlike many I’ve tried in the past. The flavor itself is very good! I always feel like I’m taking a risk when trying a new matcha brand, and I’m so glad I found this one!

This matcha has a nice vibrant color and sifts very well. However, the flavor is rather bitter for a beverage grade matcha. I'll probably be going back to Ito En accordingly.

Good price and I like the product. I had ordered from them to try in the past and I enjoyed the tea. I ended up reordering and subscribing. Only thing is I dont love the packing it comes in, with the odd shaped bottom, it makes it hard to scoop out the tea.

I bought the Better Boost "Premium Grade" one. I was hoping I could save some money this time around and be okay with not as good of a taste; I know it's not Ceremonial Grade, but idk if I'd consider it Premium Grade. It definitely doesn't create a good foam. It's for sure a low end matcha powder (hence the low price of it, that should've stopped me right there lol). I would say it's fine if you're just going to be mixing it in with other flavours, sweetness, or baking. I don't really recommend using it for a plain matcha latte with just milk/milk alternative and no sweetener/flavouring.
