Works like magic, easy to use with a knack ( explained)
It certainly seems to do an excellent job. I'll explain how and why we used it as well as the outcomes over 72 hours in case its useful info; We have a shed for drying herbs next to a little greenhouse for bringing on seedlings and this year, for whatever reason, we have been beset by ants. The greenhouse was under attack, oodles of them burrowing and marching about all over the place, it seemed as though the compacted soil floor of the greenhouse was moving. The shed had a line of the beasties filing in and out of next door. It looked really concerning. The ant powder is sold as outdoors powder so we were careful with the herb shed and only used it outside, around the perimeter. It's easy to use, however there is a knack to it. We found that if you hold the bottle rightside up, then flip it over and down firmly ( imagine those old sugar pourers where you had to flip it over and down with a bit of welly to get the sugar to come out). Then angle it a few degrees as though you are trying to aim ever so slightly upwards and squeeze. This gives you a directed downward application ( not upwards as you might think) and once you squeeze, start moving to bottle along the line you want to cover because one squeeze goes a long way ( for us a single squeeze did the bottom of one of the shed doors, about 3 feet). The you let go and the bottle fills with air, turn it rightside up and repeat this process as needed . We tried various ways of application and found the above way gave us the least " puffing" meaning we felt we were less at risk of breathing it in- often an issue with ant powder bottles. This one seems to be able to avoid it. We also found the flip & firm downward motion combo ensured there was plenty of powder loaded into the release mechanism to give a nice thick line of ant powder for a few feet at least. We found angling the end up slightly gave us the tightest, cleanest, and highest mounding of the Powder even as it's drawn into a line. We put the powder in a wide zigzag across the floor of the greenhouse, and all around the perimeter. Ants were popping out and onto the once packed soil floor of the greenhouse and we really weren't sure it could help given the sheer number of the beasties. 24 hours: we went back to check the following afternoon and even though we could still see a few , especially in the greenhouse, they didn't seem to be piling out and everwhere. There were still ants trailing to the shed but inside we saw them milling around the door and not really bothering the herbs ( sage, thyme. Lavender, rosemary. Lemon balm, sweet bettony, sweet Woodruff). 48 hours; The following day we didn't get a chance to look. 72 hours; There are maybe 20 ish, drunk looking ants going about in crooked circles in the greenhouse floor ( down from hundreds whizzing about, chomping on out beautiful seedlings), We didn't even spot a single ant inside the herb shed and the ones we saw between the two were no longer heading towards the herb shed in a determined line, they seemed to be heading in the direction of the lawn. It rained a little this afternoon so we topped up everything. So far.... absolutely marvellous. However it does it , it's working for us. You get two really big substancial bottles, much bogger than what was being sold in the garden centre and we have maybe used half a bottle, and we covered a fairly large area. Twice! We have gone from icky panic to feeling quite relaxed. Excellent stuff.

Very effective.
Very effective and easy to use. Had a flying ants infestation this weekend. Applied the powder to the source and within 30mins, the infestation disappeared. It does as it says on the tin. Highly recommended.

Loose inside lid
Inside lid comes off easily which makes the experience of spreading the powder very difficult. Powder itself works against ants.
