Casio the concept of the watch – from a mere timepiece to a wrist information device – and based on this innovative idea, product planning has been adopted. We developed not only time functions such as global time zone clocks, but also other radical new features with Casio's own digital technology, including calculator and dictionary functions, as well as a phonebook function based on memory technology, and even a thermometer function with built-in sensor. The watches with memory function became our DATA BANK product range, while the Sensor watches evolved into two unique Casio product lines of today: the Pathfinder series shows altitude, atmospheric pressure and compass measurements.
