After unboxing this beauty and setting it up, I can confidently say it's a total winner: fun, nostalgic, and surprisingly high-quality for the price. First off, the build is impressive. It's a full-size, 5-foot-tall cabinet that feels sturdy once assembled, with vibrant yellow Pac-Man artwork that pops against the garage walls. The 17-inch screen is bright and crisp, perfectly capturing the retro pixel art without any modern distortions. It comes loaded with classic games, including Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and more, plenty to keep me entertained during downtime in the garage. The controls are responsive, with a solid joystick and buttons that have that satisfying click, though I wish the joystick had a bit more resistance for precision in games like Pac-Man. Sound quality is decent too, with built-in speakers that deliver those iconic chomps and zaps loud and clear, even over the sound of the kids playing or whatever else is going on in the space. Assembly was straightforward, but here's where I have some tips for future buyers: The included installation video is super helpful. It walks you through every step with clear visuals. That said, I found it even more useful to pause it during each section to double-check my work, especially since some panels can be a tad tricky to align if you're going solo. Pro tip: Pay extra close attention at the very end when installing the bracket screws. If you accidentally grab the wrong pack of screws (the longer ones meant for something else), they'll poke right through the outside wall of the cabinet. Ask me how I know! I caught it just in time by rewatching that part slowly. Overall, it took me about 45 minutes, and no tools beyond a screwdriver were needed. Once up and running, this thing is pure joy. My buddies have been swinging by the man cave garage for high-score challenges, and it's become the centerpiece of our hangouts. No regrets on the purchase: it's like having a piece of arcade history right where I tinker and chill out. Great system. Only downside is the track ball is a little touchy. Took awhile to put together and I thought the instructions were pretty clear. I did assemble this on a table which helped a lot. I read that the sound is very loud on lowest setting, well there is a volume control on the panel where you can completely mute it if you want. This is just perfect for my basement and would definitely recommend it for any recroom.

Brings back great memories and really fun to play, the multiple games are nice. Assembly takes a while but overall it's not hard, I put it together by myself but it would be easier with 2 people.

This is a really nice arcade machine and fun to play. I gave it 4 stars bc the instructions to assemble were not specific enough. I'm a female and did put it together by myself with the exception of placing the top part on the bottom. I did get help for that bc it was heavy and you have to line it up exactly over the holes.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend. We use this all of the time. It is a true recreation of the originals. Controls are solid as well as build quality. The only issue, that I believe can be fixed in software is the volume control. The first volume level is loud. Overall it is hours of fun and easy to assemble You can't go wrong if you have a retro gamer in mind.

Fantastic vintage gaming system that checks all of the right boxes. Setup (Around 2 hours) was easy as long you follow the directions. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing for anybody who wants a real man cave. This is it. I mean it has all the pac man games, all of them! It’s beautiful in aesthetic and will definitely be a tearjerker to any man or woman who experienced the 80s and 90s. You can hook it to the internet to get a leaderboard and compete with others who own this. I’d say I definitely got my money’s worth with this. Very very very very fun! Not too big either, so you can stand or sit on a stool.

I am a 59 year old woman and I'm pretty adept at putting things together, but this challenged me. The instruction booklet was "meh" but the video within Amazon was extremely helpful. I couldn't have assembled this without the video. I did have to constantly go back and replay parts of the video to make sure I was putting things together correctly. There were LOTS of tiny screws that made this time consuming. The hardest part was probably assembling the final wall and lining up grooves and dowels. I spent about 6 hours on this myself but got it put together and it works great! Can't wait to show my kids!

Pricy, but that's partly because I live in Canada. Over $800 Canadian Dollars! But worth it for me to reexperience my younger years. I've played a lot of versions of Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man over the years but this is the first one that 'feels' like the original game, the way I remember it. Another old favourite is Galaga, also included here, and the same thing--exactly as I remember playing it. There's a Galaga 88 which I had never played before, good alternate version of the same game. As well as Galaxian, the original version of both (kinda like a more modern version of Space Invaders). Dig Dug is another game I remember from my youth, worth playing again. The other included games I haven't played too much yet, but I'm sure I'll get into them eventually. The machine itself was a little challenging to put together. It took me most of the day to assemble it, all by myself, but building things has never been one of my strong points. The fact that I did it all by myself, it looks correct and stands up by itself is good enough for me. If you're the least bit handy it should be no problem at all. It's very obviously a strong, sturdy, good quality product, which it should be for the money I paid.

For such a large item, shipping was surprisingly quick. I was able to assemble the game in a couple of hours, not bad considering I am NOT a very handy person. I am really happy with the games themselves--they're exactly as I remember them from the 80s. The joystick and firing button are responsive and seem very similar to a full-size arcade game. Overall, this was a GREAT purchase. I'm loving it.

Je suis un peu déçu, tout d’abord parlons de l’assemblage de la machine : Quoi qu’un peu long à monter, les étapes que tu dois suivre sont très bien illustré, il y a cependant un petit détail qui m’énerve…pourquoi qu’ils nous donnent des maudites vises à tête croisé quand on sait que les tête carré fonctionne cent fois mieux et les équerre en plastique pour l’écran pourrait être plus longue d’un côté pour avoir plus de poigne pour visé. Ce qui me déçois le plus c’est le manche qui fonctionne très mal pour pac man, je ne sais pas si c’est tous pareil ou si je suis mal chanceux mais quand je veux tourner les coins a pac man ça ne tourne pas assez rapidement. Tout déconstruire et retourner pour un remboursement, ça ne me dit pas du tout, alors je vais garder comme ça et jouer plus à galaxian et galaga…voilà!
