No skin irritation. Has not tarnished at all. I have fallen asleep in it accidentally and has given me no issues at all. I love that even in the closest hoop, it looks nice and high up in my chest (I don’t like long necklaces) BUT it is adjustable so it can be placed longer to whoever’s liking. Definitely one of the better purchased initial necklaces. Great value for the quality and even came packaged nicely.
