Anti Spy Matte Tempered Glass for iPhone 14 Pro Max

I spend a lot of time on my phone in public spaces (commuting, coffee shops, etc.), and this Mothca matte privacy screen protector has given me so much peace of mind. The privacy filter works brilliantly – from any angle beyond about 30 degrees, the screen just looks dark and unreadable. Yet when I'm looking at it straight on, everything is perfectly clear. The matte finish is another huge win. No more glaring reflections under office lights or sunlight – my eyes feel so much less strained after long scrolling sessions. And the texture? It's incredibly smooth to swipe and type on, almost like paper. It feels far better than glossy glass protectors, and fingerprints are virtually invisible. No more constant wiping! Installation was straightforward thanks to the included alignment frame and cleaning kit – no bubbles, no dust, perfectly centered on the first try. It's also surprisingly tough; I've dropped my phone twice (face down) and the protector took the hit while my actual screen stayed flawless. The oleophobic coating works well too. If you value privacy, hate glare, and want a silky-smooth typing experience, this Mothca protector is an absolute steal. Five stars – highly recommended for anyone with an iPhone 14 Pro!

Great protector, fits my 16e perfectly. No issues, privacy is great hiding the sides of the screen at an angle ...no more peekers. Dulls the screen brightness but that's fine for me as I don't like bright phones screens, there's no glare also

Ordered this. It’s silky smooth to use, gives excellent privacy without compromising clarity that other do. Overall one of the best, however and it’s only a small but. According to the video this is suppose to have an installation tool to allow perfect alignment of the screen protector onto the phone, it’s not, it’s two bits of sticky stuff that are not that sticky. It does also state this in the description, but the video also shows them using an alignment tool. Overall, excellent.

One of the best screen protectors I’ve had. Packaging is very sleek and everything well thought out. Instructions easy to follow and application was perfect. Protector on, no bubbles… looks very sleek and privacy works. Good value and a lot of glare reduction!

This cracked and chipped with in hours in my pocket, not recommend

The quality is great. Takes the glare off the screen and keeps the screen private. It would be five stars if it was a little larger. The gap between the screen protector and case is a little too big. UPDATE JUNE 2024: I am now buying my third one. These seems quite susceptible to chipping on the edges. This is because the edges aren’t curved and of the size of the gap between the case and the screen protector itself. Trouble is, it’s the only matte privacy screen protector I can find on Amazon.

This is true matte. I have very dry skin and constantly need to oil my hands. My last screen protector’s quoting wore off on the right side bottom corner. It got to a point where my screen was constantly murky no matter how much I cleaned it. Finger marks: The beauty of this screen is, unless I look for it, I don’t see oily finger marks and by that I mean I have to tilt the phone a certain angle to notice. I don’t even need a screen spray, any microfibre cloth does the job without any hard rubbing. Anti glare: The only screen protector I’ve ever had that gives me the impudence to stand at the bus stop, (on one of the sunniest days of the week) one hand on hips and the other scrolling without the need to shield the screen with my body. Anti spy: I can tell when I notice other travellers sitting either side of me take a sneaky look at my screen once and loose interest. They can’t see a thing, well, either that or they find my surfing too boring! Scratches: Too early to tell but so far 🤞 Likes: Easy to install but I think you need a bit of patience. Got air pockets on both top right and bottom right corners. Took me a few careful tries to get rid of them eventually. Some smaller air bubbles disappeared by themselves. Thinking of getting a spare screen should anything happen to this one. Dislikes: NON but can’t find Mothca anti spy matte screens for tablets!!!

The screen does appear dark when viewed off-axis, so the privacy effect functionally works. However, the dark mask is also applied over the FaceID sensors, so FaceID only works half the time. The screen is also noticeably darker overall, so the brightness has to be turned up higher to compensate, and the Standby mode always thinks it's night time so shows in red even in good lighting. The screen quality is also reduced due to the matte finish. There's a black border around the whole protector so the extreme edges of the screen are cut off - it took multiple attempts to align to minimise this. Not really worth it for the privacy effect.

I’ve just received the package, changed my broken pglass, it’s very good this one, the privacy it’s very ok, there are NO fingerprints on it, it’s matte, all good, recommend it 100%. You have also in the package, instructions, alignment stickers so you can do the work 100% professional.

This screen protector was really easy to apply — it comes with all the accessories you need to line it up perfectly, and it went on without any bubbles. I really like the matte finish; it looks great on my iPhone 15 Pro and doesn’t distort the colors or affect the brightness of the screen. The only downside is that the privacy feature isn’t the strongest — you can still see a bit from the sides. Overall though, I’m happy with it!

This is one of the best screen protectors I’ve used. The matte finish feels smooth and reduces glare, making the screen much easier on the eyes. The privacy filter works perfectly, so people sitting next to me can’t see what’s on my screen. It also does a great job at resisting fingerprints and smudges, which keeps my phone looking clean all day. Installation was simple thanks to the included alignment sticker. The only downside is that it only comes with one protector in the box—I really wish they included two for backup. That said, the quality is excellent, and I’d still recommend this to anyone looking for privacy and durability.
