Good quality, heavy, flexible poly/plastic. Very very tight fit. There is no drilling involved, would recommend removing to tape it came with and replace with a better product. There are two tabs at either end, these go underneath the hood clasp. When attaching to hood, slide the lower lip under the front rim of hood, starting from center, press down on guard, working toward either end. Align tabs with holes for clasp screws and reattach the clasps.Looks very good and goes well with the angry bird grill.

Very easy to install - don't want to insult anybody. Those tabs (or ears as I call them) snap right off - no cutting. If you have trouble lining up the holes for the tabs, don't even use them, snap them off and peel the self stick tape. The tape is VERY strong and will have no problem holding this accessory on. Looks great, and believe me will NEVER come off. . .

This looks absolutely amazing on my jeep. It was tricky to install at first, but once you figure out exactly what to do its perfect.Hint to new buyers. Be very careful when placing the tape because once it's down, it's not coming up. also once you screw on one side, use a screw driver to slightly shift the other side up to align the screw holes.You won't regret this purchase.

Lucky every Jeep owner knows how to make holes. This thing looks great but just doesn't quite fit. You'll need to drill different mounting holes otherwise there's just too much pressure on the sticky tape and it'll buckle after a few hours.

The item is as described high-quality unfortunately I just didn’t like the way it looked with the other added things I already had on my hood.

I bought one, but it's already coming off two years later. I knew I should have added more 3M tape but I didn't feel like making a special trip to the store. Other than that it looks good and does its job. If it had more tape and hadn't started to pull up I would have given it a 5. Overall 3/5, would recommend and would buy again but do yourself a favor and get more 3M tape.

This is the most awesome looking hood deflector but it still is not sticking even with the heat thy we have had. I thought it was because it was cold. But I am going to have to return this or just remove it as waterbis getting under and it is going to rust my gorgeous vehicle.
