My children do NOT like school lunches, and without a fridge or microwave the options become pretty tiresome. These work pretty well depending on what time lunch is (if they have lunch later in the day it is lukewarm instead of hot, but still not bad considering the alternatives.) No problems with leaking. Definitely work best if full of a hot item rather than with just a small entree.

Does not keep food warm for up to 4 hours as advertised. Did a test to see how long food stayed warm before I sent it to school with my grandchild, It only kept my lunch warm for maybe an hour. Not worth the purchase.

I got these for my son to take to school and keep his lunch warm. These are larger than I thought. I was able to fit an entire can of chef boyardee spaghetti and meatballs in one of them and white rice in the other (that's what he asked to have for lunch today). I put boiling hot water in them for 7 minutes while I cooked the food on the stove and warmed up the rice. I dried the water out of the bowls and put the hot food inside. I'm optimistic it will stay warm for 3 hrs (it says it will stay warm for 4+hrs). I'll update this post if it didn't stay warm. Normally if my son wants left overs I will put them in a yeti cup or locking Pyrex plate and wrap it with foil to keep it warm. I got tired of doing that and Wal-Mart didn't have a lot of options for what I was looking for and for what they did have, the prices were insane for small containers. I'm glad I got these.

Great quality doesn’t keep things as hot as I thought it would. I’m also not putting soups in there it’s more chicken nuggets, bagel bites, mini corn dogs so it may be what I’m putting in there. But I love that it’s super easy for my son to open by himself.

I have found they work for a couple of hours. I bought for my son and he says his lunch is cold after 4-5 hours. But I use them to take breakfast to work and it is still warm when I eat it after a couple of hours. But 4-5 hours, no. I have not had any issues with them leaking.

We had two of these. The kids never liked them. One lasted a year. The other lasted two years. Small edges of the clips easily break and make them useless. Before they broke, they didn't retain heat very well. It was nice to be able to put them in the dishwasher though.

We have bought 2 sets of these and love them. We find that we use them for lunches weekly. We heat the food up in the morning and put in these. By lunch it is still hot and no waiting for the microwave at work or school. Easy to clean & maybe investing in more for my grandkids as well.As some one who has dexterity issues occasionally, these are easy to open and close. I have not had to worry about leaks or smells.

This product does not keep food hot or even warm and cold stuff is lukewarm before 4 hours as advertised. It was a waste of my money.
