Question 1

The description says it has Bluetooth, but no ones talking about it. Does it have Bluetooth or not?

Accepted Answer

This device is presently in use on 4 of my PC's (PC = Personal Computer with Microsoft Windows 10 installed)
When this Bluetooth USB (Normal PC type USB Socket required not USB C) is pushed into a USB Socket on your PC the "Windows 10" Operating system will automatically install the Bluetooth Device Driver. Do not install any other supplied or downloaded driver. BLUETOOTH device driver is already present in the "Windows 10" Operating system.
A small Bluetooth Icon will appear in the "Notification area" (previously called the Tray) on the bottom right of your display. Some IT skill is needed to "Pair" any Bluetooth device you want to use. I use a Bluetooth Headset with Microphone. Look for "Pairing" on the Internet using Google search. Normal new Bluetooth Keyboards and Mice have their own USB Bluetooth Dongle which are locked to that pair of devices. They come as a set, and are not for general Bluetooth devices.

Question 2

Does this receive both 5g and 2.4 wifi frequencies and bluetooth compatible for mac?

Accepted Answer

Hi, if by '5g' you mean mobile data then I think the answer is no this is for wifi and bluetooth only. Can't say for certain about mac compatibility, but this was plug & play in a Linux machine as it is a standard wifi chip that worked with the preinstalled generic driver

Question 3

Does this adapter supports monitor and packet injection

Accepted Answer

I cannot say sorry

Question 4

If i connect this to a desktop pc, will it enable the "connect to a wireless display" option when projecting screen? i'm using windows 10. thanks,

Accepted Answer

I have tried to connect to a Samsung TV using this device but no success I have a real Tec wi fi on my pc which I could cast to my Samsung TV with as a WiFi -bluetooth adapter work fine not expensive doesn't hurt to have both even if it is just for the Bluetooth.
