Great wok.
Great traditional wok. No non stick rubbish, so no little black peelings in your food.Works on induction too.

This is wok you need!
If you love to use a wok for it's speed and simplicity then you won't go far wrong with this. Yes you have to do a little prep in burning off the coating and seasoning it, but you are then left with an amazing piece of equipment for those quick and healthy meals. It's big enough to allow you to cook for just yourself or a family. Once done a quick wipe down and a small oil coating and your good to go for the next time. I use it at least 3 or 4 times a week and I love it. Treat yourself to a silicone spatula too and get ready to enjoy tasty healthy meals in minutes

Excellent for the price
My first carbon steel wok. I've learnt alot seasoning this, and think I have it seasoned pretty well now (it's pretty non stick as long as I use enough oil and not too high heat).Looks cool and I have made some nice meals with it, but it's far from being a high-end wok. It's good enough, and does the job, and will last as long as I make the effort to maintain it and prevent rust.It is notably thin and warps if pressure is put on the edges (only really noticed when washing it), but it keeps its shape and can handle any stir-fry weight... (Just to clarify, it could easily be filled to the brim with water and held by the handle without any bending etc). The handle is just basic, untreated wood. Not removable, so is difficult to season all of the metal up to the handle.Overall, I'm very very happy with my wok, for this price! I think I'd be disappointed if I had paid over £30 for it though.. but functionally, its excellent, and won't limit your cooking!Used it around 10 times now, and no signs of the handle falling off or any issues. Will update this review if it doesn't last more than 2 years

Read up on how to season a wok before using
I needed a cheap simple wok for deep frying and also stir frying. I've used this for a couple months now and it's working great so far. It's a thin metal, so I don't know how long it will last but so far so good with no signs of any distress. Make sure you look up how to season a wok before using it. I put a small amount of veg oil on in inside and outside and wipe down with a kitchen towel until just a very thin layer is left before heating it over a gas stove until the thin layer of oil turns into a non stick coating. I repeated this 3 times to build up a good layer. Alternatively you could do this over charcoal in a chimney starter instead if you don't have gas. I don't know how well it would work on an electric or induction stove though. Make sure that after you wash the wok you dry it well to make sure it doesn't rust. I suspect the negative reviews are from people that didn't season the wok, or didn't dry it properly after use from looking at the pictures.

Not flat enough for induction hobs
I bought this wok hoping to use it on an induction hob, which needs a flat surface. As soon as I put the wok on the hob, I noticed that it wobbled meaning the bottom was slightly convex. When I heated the wok to season it, the bottom bulged outward even further meaning there was only a tiny point on the bottom of the pan that was making contact with the hob. Because of how induction hobs work, this meant I couldn't get the pan up to temperature due to only a small surface area actually making contact and it wobbled tremendously.I feel like I've totally wasted my money on this pan. I recommend against buying it if you need a truly flat-bottomed surface.

Authentic wok It is big enough
I seasoned my new wok up cant wait to do my first stir fry, It was larger than i expected it to be 14 inch but it fits in the large burner no problem. I may get the smaller one as well for deep frying.

Excellent piece of kit
Almost perfect, could just do with an extra half an inch of length on the handle. Looks beautiful when seasoned. Lots of space for stir-frying, which is all I do with my wok - no steaming or anything else. I'm very happy with this purchase.
