Wow!
Great tool. Great price. My house held many surprises. I keep this tool out to remind me of safe distances from my gadgets.

Fast charging easy to use
This device does show where supposed EMF fields are concentrated. I can't determine it's accuracy as I do not own another device to compare it to. I had to read the instructions -actually find & watched videos to understand the science behind what EMF is... I tend to have major issues with electronics and thought I'd order this and see if I had bigger "waves" with certain technology vs others. The readings varied on the same tech from day to day but I definitely saw spikes and dips when I'd get further away... Ghost hunting, I can feel changes because I'm sensitive to energy/psychic changes and personally I didn't see huge spikes in the EMF field where I thought there would be ghosts, but I also didn't go to any ghost hotspot(s). I live close to a historic area where they do give ghost hunting tours so I guess I could check it out one day...

Fulfills its Promise!
Unit works exactly as described. Functions and features all work for me.I will admit I am a novice in the field of EMF and what danger it poses to humans. From what I can gather, most of what we encounter around the house is considered 'possibly' damaging, by 'some' experts. Meaning, probably not very likely damaging. Definite cancer-causing variants are levels and frequencies we should not be seeing around the house. However, and that's a big 'however', 'possible' just means the jury is out. That makes me think that in the everyday levels we are subjected to, it is not necessarily THAT dangerous or we would know about it by now. Which means if we were to be bombarded by very high levels of this 'possible' categorization (and I'm not volunteering for that study!) we might find out something we don't want to know. So, if the entire inside of your house turned the meter red, I would be getting that checked out immediately.Wandering around my house with this meter, I have found many interesting things. TVs don't seem to be too high on the scale, and surprisingly enough, neither is my cell phone. Certain Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices, however, rate higher up. As soon as you step back a few feet from an offending item, it goes down. What this tells me is I would not want to walk around with one of these devices strapped to my head.Likewise, my microwave comes in VERY high on the magnetic field range, no surprise there. Again, I think we all know not to try to get inside one of those while running. More importantly, I am glad to see that the level is back in the safe zone at a few feet away. This is what I would find the device extremely useful for to the general public, if I found my microwave lit up the entire kitchen when running, I would be getting a new microwave. I think in that respect this device could benefit everyone, especially at the low price. Or at least borrow one from a friend. Most else in my house was as suspected, routers (I have MESH so there are several), various other electronics and chargers (especially wireless), but there were a few wall outlets which seemed to make the meter go red. Have to try to figure that one out. Finally, I have been on ghost tours in the past, next one I go on I will be sure to bring my EMF meter!

Time To Rearrange My Home Office
My home office is loaded with electronic equipment... four PCs, large monitors, printers, television, home entertainment system, router, modem, and a ton of other stuff. A couple of months ago I read a book about the health dangers of exposure to high levels of EMFs on a regular basis, and I spend several hours a day in my office... so I grabbed this EMF unit to test my place. The unit is easy to use... the battery recharges relatively fast... and the charge holds long enough to take readings all over the house. The instructions are decent... good enough to easily start using the device. I did get numerous high readings, especially in my office area. I may try to relocate some equipment further away from where I sit. The device seems fairly priced.

Easy to use. Helpful tool for assessing your EMF exposure.
Pros: Easy to use. Can change units from uT to mG. Seems to provide fairly consistent readings. Easily portable and rechargeable.Cons: Instructions are lacking in detail and missing explanations for what some of the information on the screen means.Other thoughts: There is a huge amount of conflicting information out there about the health effects of EMF. The government committee INIRC (who is beholden the the lobbyists and their corporate masters) claims that EMF exposure of less than 5,000 V/m or 1,000 milligauss (100 microtesla or uT) is safe. The EMF shielding/remediation companies (who have a vested interest in getting your business) claim that anything in excess of 6 V/m or 0.7 milligauss/0.07 uT is harmful. Both of these sides have a vested interest in getting you to believe their story. On the one hand the government/lobbyists want you to believe that everything is safe so they can install high-voltage powerlines across your property and put a cell tower on your roof without you making a fuss. On the other hand the EMF shielding companies want you to believe that all EMF is dangerous so that you pay for their services to reduce your exposure. I personally suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle. This monitor alarms at 40 V/m or 4 milligauss, which I think is probably a reasonable threshold. That sits somewhere in between the two extremes, and errs on the side of caution.Overall if you're looking for a basic EMF meter to assess your exposure levels around your house, I think this is a very reasonable choice. It's not the most full-featured or fancy, but for basic assessment it gets the job done.
