Best in robot mode and easy to transform
The figure has an interesting sculpt when it comes to the head. Purple helmet with a white face guard really set it off and the yellow eyes really show well through the purple. He does stand well and has some good poseability.Down side is when he is paired with his brother figure, Blackwing, it falls a little flat. When combined to make DreadWing they do not stay together to well, but that is because they only have one point in which they connect. That is the one fatal flaw of the figure. His Arm and Leg mode are much like his brothers. Good and solid with pretty good poseability. Great for collectors or the child that loves a good transformering robot.

It's Dreadwind and it's good...
Dreadwind is not a very well known Decepticon and since it's the first time he shows up as a deluxe class figure, it was quite interesting to see what Hasbro would do. The result is actually really great, not top-of-the-line great, but still, it's not a copy of another figure and the color scheme is very decent. The head is particularly interesting and packs some welcome details. All in all, Dreadwind's first appearance as a deluxe class Transformer is really nice, and will appeal especially to collectors such as myself.

However it is a great remodeling with around 70% new parts
Still a combiner wars figure. However it is a great remodeling with around 70% new parts. Transformation is slightly different and the combiner port is covered up and looks good. The included hand does not become a foot but is otherwise exactly the same as the ones from combiner wars as far as size and general shape.

If its messed up return it.
Hasbro dropped the ball with production bc I got a dud. It's a great toy for my son but it doesn't hold in place very well. I threw out the box and wasn't able to return it.

Mis-transformered in pictures, still excellent
However mis-transformered they have it in the product shots here (wings are too far back. Although, it almost looks cooler this way. With all the redecos of this sculpt, it's almost a refreshing alteration i may just use on mine), this is a cool figure. Hasbro has been knocking it out of the park with most of their generations figures for years. This one has lots of gimmicks to keep busy for hours, but still manages to look rad.

Fun toy to keep a kid busy for hours. Also, very good quality!
Purchased this for my grandson who is five. We had to work on it together as it was labeled for over 5 years old. My bad but he absolutely loved it. He plays with it and the moving parts as a robot. Great toy, parts popped out but plastic is strong and joints can be popped back together. Good quality.
