This is the new version of the BPS3 bee jacket. This high quality all in one bee keeper's jacket offers maximum comfort but doesn't compromise on protection or quality. Manufactured from light weight hard wearing Polyester Cotton. This bee suit alternative features a throwback astronaut style hood with two zips. Velcro closures at the sleeve combined with an elastic thumb loop keeps the sleeve in place and the bees out. There are pockets on the chest of the jacket to carry any equipment you need. This is suitable for any amateur or professional bee keeper or pest controller. It is hard wearing and machine washable (remove the hood and hand wash) so should give you years of bee proof wear. The new version has improved UV resistant ClearVision2020 mesh. We have also added a new feature to the hood, a removable support at the top of hood to add stability and stops the wind blowing the veil into the bee keeper's face.

Not fit for purpose
i was delivered a full bee suitn not a jacket, the hood mishapes easily and sits too close to the face and ears making me feel vulnerable. Today whilst removing a wasp nest I was stung twice on the arms, meaning this is not suitable for its purpose.

Bee Sting Free
The bee suit is perfect ,safe, comfortable to wear and a big plus no more stings!!!!!! I especially like the fencing hat.

The smock is fine but vail is wrong
In hindsight I should have purchased a jacket that zips up the front as apposed to a pull over your head jobby. I wear glasses and is a pain having to take them off to put the smock on.The material is nice and thick, which is good as I've not been stung through it. The only complaint I have with jacket is the vail which hangs down away from the face too far, the white frame hangs down and cuts straight through your line of vision. I have had to modify my suit by correcting the problem with the vail which was not a major job but something I should not have had to do.I personally will not be buying another as I wear glasses and a jacket that has a full length zip will be my next purchase.For the money though, this is an excellent jacket and is the same quality as other jackets I've seen that are twice or even thrice times the cost.Since writing the initial review above, the zip holding the vail to the smock has failed and is no longer usable as bees can get in. You get what you pay for still holds true in the bee world too.
