Sturdy item
A bit expensive but it does make life easier for holding small planks for model making,it is a strong item but could be improved with all the sharp edges finished off properly.

Useful for preparing planking
Hold the keel tight but rigidly so can only turn the model. However for the planking it is great to get the straight lines without having to use a ruler which could cause damage to the plank, which I used to have a problem with but no longer.

Works well. however...
I recommended this. Weighty and works well. However, make sure your keel width will fit. Mine didn't. More fool me.
