EZVIZ WiFi Video Door Viewer, Wireless Peephole Camera, 2.4 GHz Only

Short review, video quality excellent, sound quality excellent, battery use excellent, and very easy to install and set up. I would recommend it. If you want more read below, otherwise take care. My Reasons for purchasing. I purchased this door camera for security as I live on a quiet street where to be fair a car or person may pass every 30 minutes or so during the day and very rarely in the evening unless you get the dog walkers or the kids doing, chap door runaway. I have MS and use a wheelchair, so not that quick at getting to the door and wanted to know who was at the door before I waste what energy I have. So how did it go. Being right handed, but as I have very little feeling in my right hand, I tend to use my left hand as my dominant hand now and to be fair it was very easy to remove the peep hole that I had and replace it with the peep hole camera. You had three sets of fixing screws, and I chose the smaller of the three as per the measuring ruler. I then followed the instructions to attach the screen mounting base and covers. I chose to charge the screen to 100% before using it, this took 20 mins from 53% that it was at when I first turned it on. I also added a 128G micro SD card £22.99 that you will need if you don’t want to pay the fees for the cloud storage. I then set the Wi-Fi on the screen, I have BT at home and the BT wi-fi rutter has both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz so the screen connected first time. Then I set everything to on and maximum for video resolution, sound and all the sharpness, light stuff to max and put in the micro SD card and asked the screen to format it then changed the setting to store the images and video to the SD card. I downloaded the EZVIZ app for my phone and registered it to the EZVIZ website, got the email back with a secure code and it was done. Now if someone passes my door, I get a ping on my phone through the human recognition (you don’t have to have this on, but I want it on) its good for me so I have more time to react. I also have the motion senser on for the same reason. I also set up the sound and microphone so I can answer the door without the time and energy to get there so I have the option to respond, no thank you or I will be there shortly. What a difference this is making and I no longer need to stay in close proximity to the door if I am expecting a delivery or a visitor, I was in the garden the other day and I could speak to the postman, telling him that I am in the garden and ask him just to leave it at the front door and I would be there shortly, he brought it round to the back garden for me. What a super star. So now I have had this setup and in use for 5 days now and the battery level has dropped to 91%, I think that’s superb and it’s easy to charge using the USB C cable and charger I have for my phone but at this rate it will be a month before I need to charge. I can appreciate that if you live on a bizzy street you may not want it to ping your phone every 2 or three minutes but you can turn that to silent or even to off and it will just record it to the SD card for you to review later if required and that only when something bad happens. I was reading in the instructions that when the SD card is full it will automatically overwrite the older video and images so none of that deleting when full. I am happy with my £161 + my £22.99 purchase as its working just as I intended. I hope this review helps.

You can then view everything within their app. Usage When the door bell rings the notification shows up like a telephone call. You have the option to answer or decline and speaker to the person at the door. The camera is really decent Camera quality Amazing, works well in the dark surprisingly. You can read car number plates and it's reasonably sensitive depending on your settings. Camera quality on the monitor is reasonable almost like an android tablet. I hardly use it but it's great. Battery Brilliant. Lasts around 2-3 weeks? not a bother to charge it happens as it happens in frequently. Bought in October and I've charged it less than 5 times Assembly Pretty straightforward I think it would fit most key holes. Looks nice Cons One tiny con is that the speaker isn't great. So if someone is at your door and you are talking to them you can hear the guest clearly but they cannot hear you.

Second Ezviz product I’ve purchased. Very happy with old version, just upgraded to this version, as I don’t need to buy a monthly subscription. Camera quality is excellent. Easy to Install. Happy camper.

Overall camera is good. Battery life in my case lasts about a week. Sensor sensitivity lak of finer settings as you can onli adjust on high, medium and low and in my case on low sensitivity react on all passing by on walkvay that is around 6-7 metres from my door. I tried PIR and smart human detection, PIR seds more detection than smart human detection but it does not change de battery life. Notification are not instant i even when im on the same network in the house, from time when the motion is detected to notification on the phone is about 30-40 second. As for the battery life it a good thing that you can charge it with powerbank without taking the unit of as you can hang it on designated hook for it. All in all I am satisfied with camera just needs a bit more accurate sensitivity settings by my opinion.

It's a trash product. It does work. But you cannot cancel the motion detection unless you turn on a st**Id mode the makes the brightness to minimum, and the wifi slow. It's so dumb...Just like an iPhone. It has also some,,motion ajustments" that are completely useless. They doing nothing. You'll get every single minute fake alerts for no reason. So the battery lasts 1 day. The ideea it's great . The execution it's trash. If only it would allow you at least to stop the motion, would have been at least usable . Asked for refund.

Great piece of kit. Very sturdy, good quality components. Installation was a little troublesome, particularly having to disable my 5Ghz WiFi over the internet but plenty of help on Google Search to sort out glitches. Good quality video and instant motion detection. Also almost instantaneous notification of movement detection to mobile phone via EZVIZ app. Can't comment on battery life yet but charging is a little slow and may invest in portable charging unit so panel can be topped up in situ. I'm 75 and no technical wizard and if I can install this doorbell in a couple of hours anybody can.

All people who ring to my doorbell usually is surprised about qualify. When I show them pictures even more are satisfied and said wanna get one for themselves. If you need doorbell this is the best choice. Is linked to your phone so you can see all footage.

Great idea using the existing peephole on the door, I wanted something sleeker and better looking than the large block door bell cameras you generaly see on peoples doors. Only negative is the night mode doesnt work well where mine is situated so keep it in day mode with the pir lights that come on anyway capture is very good. Price quite high but easily justified for the overall design and function i was after.

Ich habe das Gerät vor einer Woche bekommen. Die Installation und Einrichtung ist sehr einfach und gut dokumentiert. Die App ist anderen Aussagen entgegen auch auf Deutsch benutzbar. Das Gerät ist hochwertig gearbeitet. Ich hatte ein Problem mit dem Gerät das gespeicherte Videos nicht über das Netzwerk abgespielt werden könnten. Der Kundendienst reagierte erstklassig und nach einer Woche ist das Problem mit einer neuen Firmware gelöst. Von mir eine absolute Kaufempfehlung den der Preis ist auch durchaus gerechtfertigt.

Bon produit, fonctionne super bien, bonne qualité d'images, grosse autonomie. Installé pour couvrir un couloir dans un immeuble à appartements et réglé sur detection humaine. Couplé avec une carte sd de 256gb. Le top.
