This is a very useful stand. It's comfortable to use because of the built-in cushion and an iPad fits into it very neatly and securely with or without an apple silicone cover. It's steady and stable and can be positioned at a number of different angles. I find it much easier to use the on-screen keyboard when the iPad is in this --- my typing is far more accurate. I bought it in order to use the iPad comfortably in portrait mode --- difficult with most stands including Apple's own. This does the job perfectly. It is expensive, but compared to Apple's own offerings, it's good value.

Making adjustments to the angle is a loud proposition so it's not ideal for reading in bed. My wife never users hers and I don't blame her.

Fantastic for reading in bed on my iPad, comfy on my lap and easy to adjust to the perfect viewing angle. Works as well in portrait as landscape and the two rubber strips keep it surprisingly secure as you shift position. Also very lightweight. No complaints so far.

This is so useful, holds my ipad 3 still whilst I play games, read emails etc. bottom part is soft so can beused on arm of chair or lap. Saves holding the ipad and making hands ache.
