Sizes up very large
These size up large. I have a pair of 8.5 UK shoes. I ordered the Chush n Step insoles in both the "8" and "9" sizes (either side, since they don't do half sizes) but even the 8 was far too large. Will have to try the 7s.

The best
They're quite thick but absolutely the best for comfort. Can't recommend highly enough.

Very comfortable
I really liked this design over others that have to be cut. This is one of the few insoles that you can buy to size and so the first point that I want to make is that the fit was perfect. I thought all shoes would be a little different and this may cater for ladies shoes which tend to be narrower but it fit my size 8 trainer perfectly. If you are concerned that it may be too big, then you are best to order a smaller size and this won't affect the comfort.Which segues neatly to my second point. As soon as I popped these into my shoes I went off on a 2 hour walk and found them to be very comfortable, didn't move, didn't slip and gave support where it was needed.

Be careful
These are the most comfortable insoles but beware of putting them in hiking boots. I've found that I was much more susceptible to an 'ankle roll' with these in soles. I think it was because they raise your heel up so it sits more 'on' the boot than 'in' the boot, if that makes sense. Then the heel is more apt to move inside the boot if you have a slip - you have less stability. If they were hiking insoles I'd rate them 1 or 2 stars. For walking around town they get 5 stars - they were great when I had plantar fasciitis.

Sorbothane insoles can work really, really well (most of the time!)
I have found that with Sorbothane, purchasing them for a pair of shoes can be a bit of a guessing game. I've had pairs of shoes where I have fitted Sorbothane insoles in and they work really well. Other times they have made the shoes too tight and comfortable as a result. I guess my answer to this problem would be, if you already own a pair of Sorbathane insoles, try them in a new pair of shoes first before ordering a specific pair for those shoes. If you don't already own a pair of Sorbathane insoles, give them a try!

Good replacement insoles
Bought these as replacement insoles for my hiking boots after the originals started moving around. They are a good fit and sit snug in the boots without any cutting. The insoles are very comfortable and have added some cushioning without making the boots feel spongy. I used the boots solidly for a week on holiday and the insoles were very comfortable on long walks over some rough terrain. I'm very pleased with them so far.

Not so good this time
I've previously had a pair of these Cush N Step insoles which lasted about two years. This pair have not lasted two months. I haven't given them a hard life- used them approximately twice a week in hiking boots. They've split on the top surface of the heel which traps any dirt or dust that gets into my boots and also nips my heels at times. The foam used to make this latest pair is definitely softer than the previous version which makes them difficult to slide into my boots without rucking up at the front, it can take ages to get them in properly and I wouldn't leave them in as I like to let my boots air after use and also after cleaning them.So I've asked for a refund. Be interesting to see what happens there. I wouldn't consider buying these insoles again unless I was sure the foam was as firm as my first pair.
