Excellent PSAT Prep Guide
My high school sophomore granddaughter found this book as useful for understanding and finessing the PSAT as her mother did thirty years ago. As a guide to figuring out what the test is asking of you and discovering that you don't have to be scared of it, nobody does it better than the Princeton Review. Highly recommended for PSAT prep. Costs far less than test prep tutoring--and way better value!

Good book, teaches test taking strategies
The book does a good job of instructing students on how to learn to take the test vs. learning content. The book comes with ample practice exams that have answers and explanations which walk through why each answer choice is correct and wrong which is more helpful than just plain answers.

Straightforward, concept-focused test prep book with several practice tests
I ordered this book for each of my two high schoolers to use a couple months before the PSAT, and they thought it was great! They appreciated the straightforward approach to teaching concepts, the plentiful practice problems, and the online and in-book practice tests, and felt that this book helped them make good scores on the test. They thought it was more helpful than the online Kaplan PSAT prep course and the Kaplan Digital SAT On Demand Prep course, both of which they completed.
