OXO Good Grips Reusable Lint Roller

I have the bigger version of this at home for sofas etc and it is amazing since I got the puppy. I used to take that along when travelling but then found this and love it even more! It auto swivels as you move it, so is designed to be used on clothes you're wearing. It's super nifty and great at removing pet hair. It also just makes black clothing look so clean and fresh in an instant, especially black jeans.

We have a cat, which always seems to end up on one of the beds. After she leaves the bed, there is a thick patch of fur left behind. We were going through so many fur rollers, I took a punt in this. Firstly, it’s a decent build for the price. Nice and sturdy, and the material which collects the fur, seems like it should last. Testing this in the beds, I would say it collected 80-90% of the hair. There was a lot of stubborn hair which seems to get caught in the fabric of the covers, which come up off with sticky roller, but I can’t seem to get off with this. I have found workarounds, but not as easy as just rollers. But, it does a good job, so happy to keep using this. The cleaning is very easy as well. A lot easier than I was expecting. One swipe up and down, and pretty much all the collected hair is in the little bin at the bottom.

The brush system seems robust and easy to use. The cleaning slot works pretty well and a big improvement on the brush-o-magic I had years ago where I could only clean the brush by wiping it against the carpet the wrong way. The brush comes out clean and the fluff collects at the bottom for fairly easy removal.... but you do have to pull the fluff out with your fingers. As for the effectiveness of the brush which is the whole point of it.. hmm.. I would like to see a demo video showing how it brushes off short cat hair rather than some long hair that has been loosely put onto a surface. It does improve the garment by removing general fluff and bits but many of the short white hairs of my cat remained stubbornly on the fleece I was trying to clean. Another reviewer describes how it perfectly aligns the hair.... it does just that... into beautiful parallel lines.. but that isn’t what I really wanted it for. So overall, it’s okay but fails on short cat hair (and maybe short dog hair too) but it is better than the sticky rollers that have to be changed after every roll or using miles of sticky tape which is effective but expensive, and environmentally wasteful, so I’ll go with it until someone invents something better. Life is a compromise after all. Oh and it doesn’t remove bobbles. I have a garment shaver for that which is also only partially useful.

Brilliant 👏 does a good job and I use on sofa, I have 3 dogs and a cat and its great instead of getting out the hoover.

It's a bit pricey compared to the cheap ones you can grab at the pound store, but it’s worth it for the convenience. I got tired of carrying around a chunky sticky pad every time I wanted to touch up while out and about. This one takes a little getting used to, but it actually works really well at lifting lint. I still use my traditional sticky pad roller for everyday use, but this one is great for travel. It’s small, easy to throw in my bag, and super handy when I need a quick touch-up!

I do really like this product as it does remove pet hair, however, does take more strength and time to remove than a sticky roller.

We got a goldendoodle that is apparently more golden and less doodle because holy shedding. This thing is MAGIC. LIFE CHANGING. It’s way better than the sticky lint rollers that fill up with two swipes. And the best part is the canister that wipes it clean in a convenient little trap that’s also easy to empty eventually. I’ll be gifting these to any and every golden retriever owner from now on.

This is great at removing hair/lint/dust from practically anything. Compared to buying disposable lint rollers, incredibly good price, and great quality. It's the kind of durability where I assume it'll last 3-10+ years depending on how often I use it and if I treat it well. Probably the closest you'll get to a lifetime buy that for the price and usability though. (TLDR; durable, but not "buy it for life" durable) Easy to use, and works better than those wood-handle, metal topped things you can use to kind of scrape lint off, as those are more harsh and catch on light fabrics way too easily. This works well for both human and pet hair, dust bunnies, and any pilling that isn't super well attached to the fabric, but not on any tiny short hairs only a few mm long.
