was NOT 1/4 in. Specifically looked for the size and I thought the picture was just making it look larger than it was but upon receiving it found out that it warps 3/4 in wide.

I bought this for my dad and he likes it a lot. He uses it for the waist band in his pants :)

I use this on my circle skirts instead of faffing with a zipper. It works really well but i would suggest for heavier fabrics using a wider elastic instead as it come sometimes droop on the side if you have something in your pocket. I have also used it to replace the elastic in old pyjamas, which has saved me loads of money so I don’t need to rebuy them. I also used it in some homemade pyjamas for my husband and he says they’re really comfy on the waist.

This elastic is great for price, but I ordered the wrong size. But will still keep for other sewing projects

We use it to mend the straps on our cows in the barn. It is more than strong enough to do the job. A++
