GihuoMen's Utility Vest Fishing Safari Vest Summer Travel Vest with Pockets

I got this primarily as a travel vest. I wanted something I could put my passport, wallet, phone, etc. in pockets that securely zipped closed when I traveled and this fits the bill perfectly. It has several large pockets and is very lightweight and seems well constructed.Great value for the money and it folds up into a small package when you are not using it and takes up barely any space in your suitcase. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable great amount of pocket storage

Apparently there are versions of this vest. I think mine is V2. Despite the product page making a big deal about having 10 pockets, mine has 12. The two extra are large zipper pockets in the inside front. These are big enough for gloves, a hat, or sandwiches. Very nice. See photo.I bought mine for walking the dog in hot weather. It can easily store clean poopbags, used ones, treats, pepper spray, Kleenex, a phone, and more. Some of the pockets are tiny, some have zippers, some Velcro. Examine the product photos to see which are what.The first vest I received I returned for a replacement. The vest came with the front zipper zipped up. I could not get the zipper to zip down completely to separate the two sides. I pulled and tugged and wiggled the zipper but it would not come apart at the bottom. The second vest that I received had much the same problem. I pulled the vest on over my head (like a sweater) and was able to apply more downward pressure to get the zipper to unzip. It works oK now, although it feels a little rough. Others have had a similar problem. Note also that the zipper handle is on the left, the opposite of US garments.I am giving the vest 4 stars. 3 stars for the problem with the zipper and one more star because this seems to be all in all a good vest for its price point, and because Amazon replaced it promptly. I can't judge durability. I will comment if I have problems. AS others noted, the sizing is a trifle small,.

I bought an XL. I'm 6ft 225lbs with a 51-inch chest and 40 waist. This xL size is at the outer limit of my body but fits. I am using it when I hike and walk. If you are bigger than me I don't know if they have an xxL size. The vest is lightweight, and has decent stitching but it is not anything for heavy work use.

Mesh material

This vest fits my needs perfectly. I needed a very lightweight, but tough, vest with pockets to put my phone, wallet and keys as well as a small sweat towel when I go walking in the summer months. I don't like the feel of those heavy things swinging as I walk if I put them in the pockets of my sweat pants! My other vest is way too warm as it is a fleecy. This one has more than enough pockets for my needs and is very airy and light so I don't get overheated as I walk. I like it very much!

So far, so good after first wearing. Zipper pull is on the wrong (left) side. Maybe that is the norm for China, but not a huge deal. Vest has many (6) zippered pockets plus the front zipper. These zippers could each use a zipper pull, but zipper pulls are inexpensive so just buy the ones you like and add them to the vest.
