Step down, power on, step off, power off..... Pretty simple, functions exactly as intended. Seems pretty durable and good quality, we use it in a production environment.

I inherited a log splitter recently and I didn't think I'd have to use it. I bucked up a bunch of firewood rounds recently and after hitting a few with the maul figured out that it would be easier to use the splitter to get the big chunks broken up. It was a PITA to push the momentary switch with one hand while operating the hydraulic lever with the other. This foot switch made things much easier. I bypassed the momentary switch on the splitter and using the Coolneon Foot Switch now have a free hand to move the wood pieces around. My only complaint is that the switch does not seem very sturdy but for the price I paid I really can't complain too much. It's a good value overall.
