UPDATE: I just received three more of these foot pedals. now have 5 which will cover each of my four power tools. Even though I have enough pedals for all the tools, the tools are paired up on benches that have outlet strips on them. As a result, I plug the power strip into one pedal. I keep the tools turned off when I'm not actively using them so I don't accidentally step on the pedal and power them up. I'm only one person so I will never use two tools at the time. I have two tables with tools paired up so I only need the two pedals, but I now have enough to power each tool separately should I separate them or desire to use them independently. Previous review: I bought two of these for my sander and scroll saw. The tool plugs into the plug that plugs into the wall outlet. I like that design since I sometimes prefer not to use the pedal and the plugs are at the outlet. They work great and they are easy to press.

Works exactly as it should. Will probably buy at least one more.

My must use when I take out my job site table saw, Especially around novice wood workers. My work flow when i use my model of table saw ends me not turning off the table saw right away after I make the cut. This foot pedal makes it 100% safe in my opinion. Any moment the blade is spinning and not actively cutting or intentionally planed to cut something is not safe for me. The pedal needs to stay pressed when you want to keep anything on, hence momentary switch. So to use my table saw, I have to always hold the pedal to do anything. When i let go, it automatically cuts power and blade stops. Does what it says and I'm glad it does.

I bought this to use with a semi home made piston ring grinder. (IYKYK) I used an old corded drill and a tie strap on the trigger to get the same speed every time. But that meant I just had to leave it plugged in and running while I checked the gap, OR unplug it every time. Neither is a great option. THIS IS. I have one hand on the feed and one hand moving the ring across the face of the grinder. Having the on / off under my foot is a game-changer.

I bought this to convert my blasting cabinet to foot operated rather than a squeeze trigger on the gun itself. This foot pedal works just fine, but it’s very lightweight and has a bunch of plastic. I doubt it’ll last forever, but it was a decent value for the price. Now that I’ve successfully converted my blast cabinet, I’ll make improvements on the concept as the original parts and pieces fail. Based on the money I spent on this footpedal, I’m satisfied with my purchase. I wasn’t sure I could reconfigure successfully, so I really wasn’t looking to spend a bunch of money for an experiment. I’m sure it will work just fine if I can avoid stomping on it or abusing it in some other way.

I bought this to start and stop a powered juicer. When your hands are covered in fig's or other fruits the knob is hard to turn and gets messy. Now just use pedal to start & stop unit.

Use it with a chicken plucker in a wet environment and works great! Even years later.
