simple to use and a cheap way of keeping opened wines fresh after opening, even more so if the wines are kept in a fridge as well. I've had dessert wines stoppered for up to a moth with no noticeable deterioration. lighter wines or reds up to a week easily. good piece of kit.

I frequently open a bottle of wine and just have one glass. This is the perfect stopper. I have a wine fridge and I can lay it down once. I've re-corked it with this and it doesn't spill.
