No more tarter buildup
I have receding gums and noticed that I had a daily buildup of tarter on the exposed dentin. I would have to use a dental instrument to get this tarter off. Since I have been using Florassist Oral Hygiene I no longer have the tarter buildup. It seems a little expensive but well worth it knowing that my teeth and gums are now clean and healthy.

Good for mouth, but bad for gut
I stopped using it, because the first/main "other ingredient" is xylitol, which is believed to disrupt the gut microbiome. It is careless of Life Extension to put a gut-disruping sweetener in an oral-biome "health" product.

FLORASSIST® Probiotic
Had a very deep dental cleaning that included Arestin placements in deep pockets. Decided to follow it up with trying to improve my oral biome. Florassist has Blis M18 which is supposed to be the a superior strain of S. Salivarius. Just before bed, I chew a tablet just enough to break it up and then slap in my nightguard so that a lot of it is captured and hopefully seeps into the gumline. Caution: If you try this, don't lay down right away, the pill is very mouth-watering and also you could choke on increased saliva or stray fragments, let it dissolve for a few minutes while you are upright. Also keep in mind with this and all probiotics, that the oral and gut microbiomes are always in a state of flux, so keep introducing good bacteria. Do not think of this as a substitute for good oral hygiene, the product is not inexpensive, but relative to other dental maintenance costs it could be a worthwhile adjunct.

Great for your Mouth!!
This product has given me great dental reviews by my hygienist. It has actually regrown some of my receding gums. It’s a great overall product to help your mouth biome.

Live them for gums problems as I get older after brushing your teeth it help building good bacteria in u mouth
