SHARPIEQuick-Drying Permanent Marker (1988992)

As far as I can tell, this is your garden variety 2-pack of Sharpie markers, with the exception of these having a thick, opaque, fat, chisel tip. I recently moved and needed a way to clearly label boxes. I purchased two varieties of wide chisel tipped Sharpie markers, this product, the Magnum, and the Sharpie Pro XL Chisel Tip. While both markers ultimately got the job done with bold, black, opaque, lines, I prefer and recommend the Magnum over the Pro XL for a couple of reasons:1. The XL Chisel Tip has a cap which is incredibly difficult to remove. I'm in my thirties, with a good amount of strength, but the cap on that marker was such a pain when having to label a lot of boxes and constantly capping and recapping. The Magnum didn't have this problem and is more like your standard Sharpie.2. The Magnum smells like a normal Sharpie, while the Pro XL has a different, more noxious smell that tends to linger for a long time unlike the odor of a typical Sharpie, the Magnum included.3. The Magnum is a little bit cheaper in a 2-pack.BOTTOM LINE:Its a marker, its a Sharpie, and it gets the job done if what you need is a large, black, chisel tipped permanant marker. But I recommend the Magnum for this task over the Pro XL for the aforementioned reasons. You can't go wrong with these.

Used for moving boxes

I've used these XL markers for years and am quite satisfied.Great for covering up marks and labels on packaging or for privacy.

Have been using this marker for a few weeks now and I'm surprised that it is still producing strong and very opaque lines. Exceeded my expectations.

These are great. I frequently use them to black out barcodes or personal information on shipping packages and they are perfect for that purpose.

How long will it last? Remains to be seen.Plastic body when the product is advertised as having an aluminum body – "Sturdy extra-wide felt chisel tip and large aluminum body are tough enough to handle heavy use".It certainly marks containers more visibly with thicker strokes.

When this is the only size you can find without the pen tip attached, you find it quite useful, especially when three straps is better than twenty. However, the sharpie smell is a bit too strong, and it is too bulky for everyday smaller needs.

I labeled around 100 boxes and both these markers were still going strong, so they’re definitely long lived! These are a total must have when you’re moving because you can read the writing from afar unlike if you use a regular Sharpie.

Me gustó la relación calidad-precio porque los encontré con precio rebajado, aunque me tocaron los de cuerpo de plastico, no aluminio y, la duración de la tinta aun no la compruebo. Pero la tinta me pareció de muy buena calidad, con un color negro intenso.👌
