Great Set, Especially for Plein Air
I have been experimenting with mediums and I really like this brand for its convenience. I have been doing a lot of plein air painting and Open Acrylics let me blend but also not have to leave with a super wet canvas if I don't paint super thick.I have some slow drying medium to mix in with my other acrylics but that is one more thing to bring in my pack and can be inconsistent if I am working fast- so I like that this brand does that for me. The colors in this set are nice and thankfully they give you a large white to use.Golden is a great brand and the acrylics have a luminous quality you don't get in other brands. I have recommended this set to a lot of plein air painters frustrated with the cumbersome nature of oils and the lightning fast drying of regular acrylics.

Great paint for slower drying/blending
It is a slow drying paint that makes blending so much easier. I wish it was less expensive so I could buy it exclusively. It does seem like I use less paint when using this product. The small tubes have lasted quite awhile and I paint a lot.

Golden Paints are top notch
Love Golden paints and the price was great. Great value for how top notch this company is. Thickness and texture are amazing and all you need to clean up is a little rubbing alcohol and water.

Great for acrylic painting
I bought this brand for my acrylic painting class it works great and colors come out beautiful on your paintings. The only thing I would suggest don’t let the paint dry a couple of days like I did because when you go back the color is a little harder to fix the paint to mix with other colors. Otherwise this a great brand that I would buy again in the future.

Love these paints! With the slower drying time and the more translucent body it is wonderfully easy to create oil like paintings!

Great paint
Awesome! Something that drove me crazy about traditional acrylics are how quickly they dry- 3 minutes in and I've already lost my ability to blend and the paint is dry on the palette. Not so with these-- I have plenty of time to blend beautiful skies and use up all my paint. I use them in tandem with traditional acrylics, for the times when I need a thicker application of paint.
