Works good and easy
Great little device for sighting in your weapon. If using .22LR I suggest sighting it to about 90 yards because that's about where most 22 rounds shoot flat on the way back down. So put this in your barrel, point it at something 90 yards away and adjust your scope or sights so that they are lined up perfect with the laser dot on the target downrange. Then your good to go. This unit can be used on .177 as well which is the normal size of a bb gun, this will fit a .25 as well if using the extra rubber grommets. It works so well I bought another in rifle calibers as well. 308/3030

Cal Red Laser Bore Sight
The device is designed to be inserted into the muzzle of the barrel in such a way that it provides a secure connection that is perpendicular to the axis of the bore. The design is both small and lightweight, adding to the ease of the product by making it simple to use and maneuver with a variety of different kinds of firearms. After being fitted, the bore sight will offer a reference point that is both extremely visible and accurate thanks to the red laser that it emits. This laser beam makes it possible for sights, scopes, or red dot optics to be aligned quickly and accurately, which substantially simplifies the process of zeroing in on a target. I am now able to obtain ideal alignment with ease and confidence, regardless of whether I am practicing on the range or in the privacy of my own garden. This bore sight genuinely impresses me with its wide range of application possibilities. It is suitable for use with a diverse selection of weapons, such as revolvers, pistols, rifles, and air guns, among others. Due to the device's adaptability, I am able to use it throughout the whole of my collection, which frees me from the need to maintain several bore sights. Because of its dependability and versatility, it has become an essential component of my collection of weapons.

Saves range time and ammo
The bore sight is easy to use, puts me on paper at the range, so I can spend my time and ammo making fine adjustments to my scopes and red dots.

Slight wiggle
Very slight wiggle that made me uncertain of the zeroing. It was about 3/4" at 17'. Ended up zeroing off the mid-point between the deviations

Helped to adjust my sights!
This ONLY fits the 22LR!!!There are no tiny 22LR boresighters that can fit fully inside these tiny barrels like the 9mm, so this is an external boresighter that partially slips into the front of the barrel with 3 rubber O-rings that help align this tool to the barrel. This product comes with lots of batteries and it only needs three of them to power the laser. There are different size O-rings to make sure it can fit your particular barrel but the ones installed fit mine fine.Once you insert these tiny batteries and screw this product together the laser is ON.I rotated the product in the barrel to make sure that it was straight and aligns with the barrel.I had to adjust/rotate my front sight just a tiny bit and tweak the rear adjustable sight to "zero" it for 7 yards. It also helped me to determine how to adjust my aim for longer distances. Now Bullseyes at 7 yards and 6" groupings at 25 yards.I am happy with this product and gave it 5 stars.

Why does the 2nd replacement still not work properly?
I have the same issue with this one as I did with the 1st one that I ordered. The part that screws into the laser the treads are loose and does not work when screwed in. The laser will work with the batteries and without the part that goes into the barrel, once touched with the barrel insert part the laser goes out. Yes, I have the insulator per instructions installed. I thought maybe some how it was grounding itself out, so I even put Teflon tape to act as an insulator. Still no luck. I hate to send this one back too. No choice, but I am going too. I will order a different brand. I have reread the instructions 4 times to make sure there is not something I am not doing correctly to cause it not to work.

Its actually not bad... but
This thing is SO far off-- at 10 FEET (yes, 10 >feet<) its off by at least 1 foot left and foot high. I don't know what the mounted inside the laser housing, but its nuts how off this thing is. No way I can use it to dial anything in.** Correction!!Once I used the proper O-Rings to seat the thing, it was spot-on, both on 9mm and 10mm, and it was compared with my Bore-Sight...The issue is that its not "obvious" which O-Ring(s) to use-- and they are a bit fragile. For the 10mm I had to use a "thicker" O-Ring-- it required me to use needle-nose to spead it to get on the device. They include some others (white) which when spread just break in half (And, at least I couldn't get them over the device itself )BUT-- for $13 bucks, its not bad-- HOWEVER, for $25 bucks:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0874FJS7Q?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1Does the job, and I was able to use it on 9mm, 10mm [ ** 5.56(.223) WILL NOT FIT ** ] with ease... It's pretty obvious (to me) which one to choose, unless $12 bucks means that much to you...
