Works good and easy
Great little device for sighting in your weapon. If using .22LR I suggest sighting it to about 90 yards because that's about where most 22 rounds shoot flat on the way back down. So put this in your barrel, point it at something 90 yards away and adjust your scope or sights so that they are lined up perfect with the laser dot on the target downrange. Then your good to go. This unit can be used on .177 as well which is the normal size of a bb gun, this will fit a .25 as well if using the extra rubber grommets. It works so well I bought another in rifle calibers as well. 308/3030

Works well
This is very nice for getting a general zero on rifles. You will obviously want to zero with a few rounds when you have a chance, but this will keep you from wasting rounds trying to find close to zero. The laser is very bright as well and can be seen easily in the day light. It fits in the end of the barrel or the chamber of your rifle depending on the caliber very easily.

Cal Red Laser Bore Sight
The device is designed to be inserted into the muzzle of the barrel in such a way that it provides a secure connection that is perpendicular to the axis of the bore. The design is both small and lightweight, adding to the ease of the product by making it simple to use and maneuver with a variety of different kinds of firearms. After being fitted, the bore sight will offer a reference point that is both extremely visible and accurate thanks to the red laser that it emits. This laser beam makes it possible for sights, scopes, or red dot optics to be aligned quickly and accurately, which substantially simplifies the process of zeroing in on a target. I am now able to obtain ideal alignment with ease and confidence, regardless of whether I am practicing on the range or in the privacy of my own garden. This bore sight genuinely impresses me with its wide range of application possibilities. It is suitable for use with a diverse selection of weapons, such as revolvers, pistols, rifles, and air guns, among others. Due to the device's adaptability, I am able to use it throughout the whole of my collection, which frees me from the need to maintain several bore sights. Because of its dependability and versatility, it has become an essential component of my collection of weapons.

Nice tool for the price, Works well
I wish they had provided some sort of tool to remove the O rings. I found it very difficult to remove them without ripping them or damaging them. But since I only have to do it once in a while between my .22 and .17 HMR I guess it's bearable. Once I had it fitted it work perfectly.

In 10 minutes my scope was zeroed in
Works as advertised. Sat in my back yard aiming it at a wall 50 ft away. Went to the range and shot real bullets. Gun was spot on from 75-100 yards and in. Would need to go out at night if I wanted to zero in a longer range. But 75 yards or so was all i was looking for with a .22, and a cheap scope.

The shaft appears slightly bent.
I've used boresights before, but not the kind where you just insert the tip. This one uses an insert into the end of the barrel as opposed to going in the chamber. Unfortunately, mine was inaccurate with the red dot moving just by rotating the Tipfun boresight while inserted. If it was properly calibrated, the dot would not change position.IMO, the one I have is improperly machined such that there is a very slight bend in the shaft, probably near the threaded part such that the red dot is unstable and basically almost worthless for sighting. I say "almost" because if it gets me on paper, then I can zero from there. We'll see if it even does that.Update: 10.04.23: I decided to fiddle around with this boresight a little simply because the other reviews were good and my experience was different. I retried it and it worked great the second time! I think I mistakenly put 4 batteries in the cylinder instead of 3 so the .22 insert rod wasn't fully aligned with the red dot tip. Holds rock solid now and I've updated my review to 5 stars.

Why does the 2nd replacement still not work properly?
I have the same issue with this one as I did with the 1st one that I ordered. The part that screws into the laser the treads are loose and does not work when screwed in. The laser will work with the batteries and without the part that goes into the barrel, once touched with the barrel insert part the laser goes out. Yes, I have the insulator per instructions installed. I thought maybe some how it was grounding itself out, so I even put Teflon tape to act as an insulator. Still no luck. I hate to send this one back too. No choice, but I am going too. I will order a different brand. I have reread the instructions 4 times to make sure there is not something I am not doing correctly to cause it not to work.

Works, but only gets so far.
Gets you in a very general area that is needed. Slightly different sight pattern every time it is used.
