I was really on the fence about buying this swaddle. As a mom of 3, I’ve tried SO many different kinds! I hate spending money on one only to find that baby doesn’t even like it. This one is a game changer though!! My little boy LOVES this thing! He won’t sleep unless his arms are down and it’s wrapped nice and tight. At first I didn’t like it because he’d work his arms up and out of the neck and wake himself up. I thought it didn’t work and was so annoyed I’d wasted more money on a useless baby product. But then I decided to try it one more time, wrapping it a bit more snug. And Voila! This thing is like magic!! I’m honestly dreading the day that he starts rolling over and can’t use it anymore (I’ve already bought the one with arm holes to help with the transition). The material is great quality, the Velcro works well, and I love that it has snaps to keep it from moving up over babies face. I haven’t used the legs out option, but it’s nice to know I can if needed. My advice is to buy at least two, so you can have a spare while one is in the wash. If you’re on the fence about purchasing this- just do it!!

We loved this swaddle. My baby slept so well using this. Super soft material and pretty color as well. I love the Velcro feature. We had to get this swaddle with double the security (zipper and Velcro) since she would Houdini herself out of the Halo swaddles we were using. This one kept her secure and was way faster to get her into - very easy to use. The only bummer is that they outgrow it so quickly since babies are only swaddled for up to 8 weeks old or until they begin to attempt to roll. I wish it was cheaper for how short of a time period it’s used.

Comparison: we have tried many swaddles or sleepers. Due to being told swaddling is best. Both kids always broke out of swaddles even in the hospital (those pro nurse swaddles). So we tried different brands to keep hands contained. Like gnamuna, halo, nested bean etc. Those cause fabric to be bunched near the face. This rarely did at all. Big improvement. Ended up swaddling just for first month because daytime naps were doing fine not swaddled with our second. But recommend this if you want to try swaddling. Pros: Keeps the hands in even if they break out of the swaddle. Comfortable. Light weight and not that warm. Great value for the money. Size is as expected unless you move the buttons up. Eat to change diapers. Cons: Seems a little small if you move the inner buttons higher : You button the bottom piece to the top).

*UPDATE: two months into purchase, 1.5 months into use and I still do love this swaddle but if it wasn’t for the summer heat I don’t think I would repurchase.. my daughter is now three months. I had to repurchase another since she runs so hot this is the only option for a bottomless swaddle. The stitching is starting to become undone, the zipper broke (though I was able to fix it) and the material has become easily stretched out from my daughter trying to break out of it and therefore the Velcro is not long enough to stretch the stretched fabric right enough to keep her in. Needless to say I’ve woke up too many nights, of what I thought were finally undisturbed, to the sounds of finger sucking and talking (baby babble) as she completely wakes herself up. Again, I still do love this swaddle but for the price of only getting less than two months of actual use I don’t think it’s worth it.. maybe recommended for a baby that doesn’t wiggle or fight the swaddle a lot in their sleep? I just think it should be made with that in mind already. I freaking LOVE this swaddle ! The Ollie used to be my favorite and I still really love it but with this California heat my little sweat ball needed something lighter. The problem is her Houdini escapes getting her hands out of her swaddles. Though it’s kind of a whole ordeal with the zipper and the buttons and the velcro, it keeps her arms and hands inside her swaddle and the legless option keeps her wayyy cooler especially since the material is so much lighter. If she’s wearing onesies it makes it super easy to do night time diaper changes too with her still being swaddled. Would HIGHLY recommend, and already have, for your own baby or as gifts. I can’t say enough good things. Just wish it was more of a one size fits all

I just had my first baby and purchased this swaddle before he was born. I live abroad so I have to order items before I need them. However, in this particular situation, I wish I could have waited until he was born since he likes to sleep with his arms up around his face. Unfortunately, we were not able to use this swaddle. If you are a new mom, I would advise to wait to purchase a swaddle like this until you know the preferences of your baby. However, this was a really well constructed swaddle, and the quality was great. The color looks exactly as it was pictured, and it felt so soft. I wish we could have used this, but I will try to resell or gift it to another mom.

Our son kept getting his arms out of the Halo swaddles we had and waking himself up. The Embe solved that for us. The design is so much better than the other swaddles we’ve seen that I’m surprised others don’t do the same thing. With his arms zipped in, he slept better (and so did we). The lighter fabric was nice as well when it was warmer. Honestly, the only problem for us was that our son is pretty tall, so we had to stop using it earlier than we would have liked.

THIS!!! This is the swaddle I’m buying for any new mom-to-be. We’re first time parents and this has SAVED us. We wish we had found it before he was born and had it at the hospital! We tried the Halo swaddle, but it just couldn’t get tight enough for his little arms to not wiggle up through. Even though he can still sometimes Houdini out of this one, it’s typically only if we either didn’t do it tight enough or if we swaddle before we feed and burp him (and it slides up a bit). But it’s so much easier to reswaddle. We bought 3 because spit-ups happen... And so do mid-diaper-change peeing sessions (if we are bold enough to change a diaper while he is half-swaddled).

I went through multiple swaddles with my newborn and this is the only one she couldn’t break out of and that she sleeps well with! I love that the zippered portion keeps her arms contained, and I can adjust the band for comfort. We have been finally getting longer stretches of sleep since using this!
