We have a couple of DVD recorders and were experiencing some issues watching.I did this to both boxes, and it was fast and apparently effective.No more issues.

It didn’t work but I don’t know if it was just the DVD player was bad I’m gonna try to clean my new DVD player with it when it gets a little older and see if it prolongs the live for my DVD player

This disc cleaner won't fix every disc player with a disc-reading error; however, I very much suggest that you give this disc cleaner a try.For years my 2011 Blu-ray player would only play DVDs and would have issues playing Blu-ray discs, giving a disc reading error; however, after giving this disc cleaner 3 passes in the Blu-ray player, it could play Blu-ray discs perfectly again. Tip: Try not to bend the bristles of the disc cleaner when setting it in the disc player to clean.

I bought it for an Xbox wallet to clean it because it wasn’t playing right put it in cleaned it. One time works perfectly now. Definitely will keep this around. I would definitely recommend if you have an Xbox DVD PlayStation anything buy one of these and keep them because they do work And it’s good to clean your consoles once a month.

Somewhat dusty and pet friendly environment shared with my UHD player. What could go wrong? Stuttering playback! This worked great - one pass and it fixed the problem. The instructions recommend running it for every 10 hours of playback, and I will follow that advice. Have to take care of that player - not many companies still make them!

Upon opening the flimsy package a note required removal of a seemingly useless clear tape covering of the center hole. In addition, there is a white band taped around the hole. Nothing is mentioned about removing it, but it was already starting to peel off so I removed it, leaving a sticky residue on a large portion of the disc, requiring substantial cleaning. I inserted the disc in my Samsung 4k DVD player which read the disc once, then almost immediately began sending test signals to incorrect speakers (some received no signal at all) for a properly setup 5.1 system. I don't know if it performed a lens cleaning, since there was no indication it had done so. Also, it had just been cleaned perfectly with an older disc cleaner. I was actually just trying to see if my player would read the disc, since many reviewers said their equipment would not. Out of curiosity, I reinserted it, but it was NOT read a 2nd time. USELESS!!! Immediately initiated return request

This brand works as described. I always trusted this brand of products years and have never had complaints. Cleans as it should and a good price point also.
