Perfect screwdriver - fits well in the hand
The perfect screwdriver. Has a chunky, soft grip that really does have good grip to help apply torque to the screw. Just make sure you buy the right size 😉The only thing that could be added is a magnetised tip to hold the screw but you could always magnetise this yourself.

Perfect grip and secure engagement with screws
Purchased as an addition to a set of the 'jewellers' type that has shafts about half the length of this and little provision for grip. This will provide for the additional purchase required with tight or sealed screws, several instances of which had been recently encountered. Most of those recently encountered were PH1 with the remaining few PH0. Expectation is that this will be much used as it was put to good use almost immediately upon delivery.Other larger screwdrivers from the FatMax range are owned and used and among the best available within a large collection of such tools, some of which are expressly used for DIY or household repairs etc and the smaller sizes mostly used on electronic equipment and computers. The "Stanley Fat Max Screwdriver S/D Phillips Ph1X100Mm" is of average shaft length (100mm) with a handle that provides a good non-slip grip although not triangulated as many are. Pricing is fair.Stanley tools have long been a firm personal favourite since one was recommended by a tool wholesaler whom I then knew. Although now almost 50 years old and no longer manufactured, the tool is still frequently used for the extra torque it provides.
