I have been looking to expand my old analogue CCTV system with IP cameras and needed a simple and easy way to power them, as some of the locations would be awkward to run a new mains socket and the YuanLey 10 port PoE+ switch is the perfect solution to my problem. The switch has a nice metal construction with 8 x 10/100 Mbps PoE ports and 2 x uplink ports on the front, along with the status indicator lights and a switch to extend the transmission range of the connected cameras from 100 meters to 250 meters. The rear of the unit is where the mains adapter is plugged in and also features a grounding point, so that the unit can be grounded inside your cabinet (if that is where you are placing it). Either side of the device are mounting points for the hanging brackets which can be screwed into place and the bracket can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Each port outputs 52v at 1.5A and has a max output of 30W. You simply connect your devices to the PoE ports, connect the switch to your existing network via an uplink port and connect it to the mains. ***** Conclusion ***** Currently, I only have 1 PoE IP camera but intend to add more. Being able to power the cameras using a single Ethernet cable is a huge advantage and makes installation far easier. I have my switch mounted in my attic so only needed to run a single Ethernet cable between my router and the switch and then a single Ethernet cable between the switch and the camera. It is also possible to power non PoE enabled cameras using the YuanLey switch, by using a spliiter – you will need to make sure the splitter is capable of reducing the voltage from 52v to 12v, which is usually used by non PoE cameras or you will damage them. I also like having just a single power source as it helps to keep the installation nice and neat. All in all, I am quite pleased with the build quality and the value for money is very good. Having 8 ports means I have enough room for expansion in the future.

I have this Waterproof Network Switch mounted in my outhouse. From the Switch I run my security cameras around the home. It means I have one wire running to the router instead of all the cameras. Very easy to use, waterproof, wired, the signal has never let go, it is easy to mount and looks of great quality stratight out the box. Would buy again if I needed another waterproof switch for maybe running something outside.

Do not like that there is no fuse in the power plug. Is there an internal fuse? Product used for powering AP’s and is doing the job.

No problems for me. I have the 8 port version running in a semi-indoor garage area to feed POE cameras and a couple other things for around 9mos at this point. I installed the 4 port version of this at my mom's in an outdoor space under 2nd floor deck area and it's been chugging along fine for her for a little over a year at this point.

Je cherchais un Poe injecteur qui puisse être utilisé dehors pour alimenter mon WifiMesh extérieur et mes cameras de surveillance. Sur la description de l’article on voit pas trop si il y a une prise de courant ou non, je confirme que OUI mais le fil est vraiment très court c’est dommage. Sinon pour le reste rien à dire, il faudra attendre l’hivers et l’humidité pour être sûr que ça fonctionne et résiste bien.

Funktioniert super, habe 3 POE Kameras dran angeschlossen und auch nach Monaten noch keine Ausfälle verzeichnet. Einzig der Abstand zwischen den Anschlüssen könnte etwas größer sein. Bei LAN Steckern die am Kabel ohne Werkzeug montiert werden reicht der Platz gerade so aus.
