From the packaging to the accessories, this product is really well made! It's by far the easiest case to disassemble/assemble i ever had! And it also includes a very useful step by step illustrated guide! The PCIe riser is solid and precise! Same quality as rackmount server risers that cost hundreds! It took less than a hour for me to assemble everything in the case, including organizing the cables. I have big hands, so, it's hard for me to work with compact stuff. Even with that, I had no issues to assemble all the components inside the case. The fans are silent and efficient. Overall, the case is very good for it's price. It's compact and have a good appearance, even if you use it as a home theater in the living room. The only thing you should be aware of it: You need a SFX sized power supply. ATX won't fit on the case. Also, this case is mini ITX only. It won't support Micro ATX mobos besides the description saying otherwise.

The idea for the build in this case was for a HTPC / living room games device. Irs a great SFF case allowing for a decent itx build inside whilst looking like a console and thus not out of place. I opted to use a 120mm aio with the AMD 5600x and temps are very good, the case is stood up with the ve tilation panels oriented so the fans can pull the air across the radiator. I also used 3 x 80mm fan's along one edge to provide more fresh airflow. We only used a single fan 1660ti which fitted very comfortably along side the aio setup. I would certainly recommend this case for anyone wanting to build an itx setup that resembles a console.

Great build quality overall, A true pain to cable manage in if you choose to fully load it with SSD's in the back panel. But that's what you sign up for when building in such a case. If you can get your hands on shorter run cables for your SFX power supply i would highly recommend it The looks overall are great, the size can be compared to that of a PS5. Do note that you will need to manually adjust fan speeds in your BIOS or the noise level will be unbareable. I set them as low as possible so that i still had good airflow but couldn't hear the fans turning into a Turbojet.

First of all, gpu temps are amazing in this case with the two stock fans facing the GPU. However, the stock fans are incredibly loud. Worth setting to silent mode in bios. They'll still pump more than enough air into the system. CPU temps however are a little harder to maintain. If you're going Intel I'd recommend the 65TDP CPUs. In my instance I used an i5 13400f. I'd recommend using the CPU cooler as an exhaust. Invest in some 60mm noctuas that you can fit by the front mesh panel, or I've even seen someone manage to fit a 60mm noctua at the bottom of the case, technically towards the top of the motherboard, as it's placed upside down. Use the 60mm as intake, CPU fan as exhaust. However I'd only suggest going through all of that if you're using a 125tdp CPU. The power connecter that goes from your psu to the back of the case, uses an extremely thick cable, with an extremely thick connector to the rear of the case. Which sounds great for build quality, but it made getting my cooler in a nightmare. I managed in the end, but others might not be so lucky with their cooler. I had to remove the connecter and squeeze it back in and screw it into place after installing the heatsink. Finally, if you're building for someone else, as I was, for my father, I wouldn't recommend this case. It will require regular cleaning as all the vents are just open holes with no mesh. I ended up getting magnetic mesh and attached them to the inside of the side panels, meaning my father can now just remove the side panels and clean them off, and that should keep the inside of the case from needing a clean for a long time. Once it's all built in, looks great. But yeah, the only nightmare building experience is with the power connector. The maintenance with cleaning will be a nightmare, and the stock fans, which are nice to be included, are extremely loud and will require a fan curve edit.

One of the best cases I have ordered. Good cooling and ok value foe money. Will fit is any home or office and easy to build in. Fan that's come with case are amazing nice and quite and it's the perfect size

Great use of space in this case. Fitted a sfx-l psu in no problem. Fans are quiet until put under load, but keeps everything cool. I'll have to set a fan profile in the future. Access to every part of the setup, can remove every panel. High quality build too Looks really minimalist too.

Cool case temps are better than expected,nice fit and finishing it feels good quality. Shame it doesn't come with a gen5 pcie riser

As title, great stand, keeps GPU (4090) very cool and CPU (7800x3d) relatively cool too. Everything is metal build apart from the vertical stand, which is flimsy plastic and has broken on first use, with the screw holes failing and the metallic joints at the base 'falling through' somewhat. This means that the case isn't very sturdy and, perhaps worse, it has left deep gouges in the desk it sits on. To be fair to Fractal, I contacted them and they are sending a replacement stand FoC, but this won't fix the significantly scratched desk. Maybe I was unlucky, although this is definitely not the first comment I have seen online about the flimsiness of the stand. Really let's the product down, which is a shame as otherwise really liking the case.

Als IT'ler, der gerne leistungsfähige Hardware im Wohnzimmer betreibt (für Medienserver, HomeAssistant, Proxmox, etc.) bin ich ständig auf der Suche nach einem Gehäuse gewesen, das sowohl optisch ansprechend als auch funktional ist. Das Fractal Design Ridge hat mich in beiden Aspekten überzeugt. Hier ist meine ausführliche Bewertung: Produktbestandteile und Funktionen (laut Hersteller): - Kompaktes Design: Das Ridge ist ein Mini-ITX-Gehäuse mit einer schlanken Bauweise, die sich perfekt in Wohnräume oder Büros integriert. - Stofffront: Die Gehäusefront ist mit einem Stoffbezug versehen, der nicht nur optisch ansprechend ist, sondern auch als Staubfilter fungiert. - Lüfterkonfiguration: Das Gehäuse bietet Platz für 2x 120/140 mm Lüfter an der Seite und 3x 80 mm Lüfter am Deckel. Nachteile (nach meinen Erfahrungen): - Qualität hat ihren Preis: Mit einem Preis von etwa 145 Euro ist es etwas teurer als andere Mini-ITX-Gehäuse. - Staubfilter: Obwohl die Stofffront als Staubfilter dient, fehlen herkömmliche Staubfilter an anderen Stellen - nach drei Monaten Dauerbetrieb kommt doch schon einiges an Staub ins Gehäuse (hauptsächlich über die Schlitze über dem CPU Kühler) - Audioanschluss: Der vierpolige Klinkeanschluss kann bei einigen Headsets Probleme bereiten, da kein Adapter im Lieferumfang enthalten ist. - ggf. Platzbegrenzungen: Die maximale Höhe für CPU-Kühler beträgt 7 cm, was bei einigen Kühlsystemen Einschränkungen darstellen kann - aber sind wir mal ehrlich: wer das Gehäuse kauft, klopft sowas auch vorher ab. Mein Fazit: Das Fractal Design Ridge ist ein hervorragendes Gehäuse für alle, die ein kompaktes, optisch ansprechendes und funktional vielseitiges System aufbauen möchten. Die Kombination aus schlankem Design und modularem Aufbau macht es zu einem idealen Begleiter für den Alltag. Trotz einiger kleiner Einschränkungen, wie dem Preis und den begrenzten Staubfiltern, überzeugt das Ridge durch seine hervorragende Kühlleistung und die einfache Montage. Für mich ist das Ridge ein perfektes Beispiel dafür, wie ein Gehäuse sowohl formvollendet als auch funktional sein kann. Bei mir lief es mit einem MINISFORUM BD790i SE mit AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX nahezu lautlos. Das Gerät bietet aber natürlich auch durch die Möglichkeit länge und leistungsstarke Grafikkarten einzubauen die Chance ein echtes Powerhouse aufzubauen. Von mir gibt es auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne, ich habe "mein" Gehäuse endlich gefunden.

Al jaren is Fractal Design mijn favoriet wat betreft behuizingen. Deze kast stelt niet teleur. De kwaliteit is zeer goed, de indeling is doordacht en de handleiding is erg duidelijk. De meegeleverde fans zijn stil genoeg en de temperaturen zijn voor een niet-gamersysteem goed te noemen wanneer je niet de zwaarste hardware wilt gebruiken, zelfs met een horizontale opstelling. Ik heb er een Ryzen 7 7700 in gebouwd met een Thermalright AXP90-53 CU, twee M.2 schijfjes en een voeding van Corsair. Er is genoeg ruimte voor een moderne grafische kaart. Wat er aan verbeterd kan worden: de voet is erg plastic en te laag, isolatievoeten voor audioapparatuur zijn aan te raden bij horizontale plaatsing Jammer is dat er geen stoffilters bij zitten. Maar verder is dit de ultieme ITX-kast wat mij betreft.
