EsiCam Reversing Camera to Phone for Caravan Trailer Versatile for Home Security All In One -EH05

The camera arrived speedily with Amazon Prime. Easy enough to set-up & link to iPhone ( a little patience is required on first set-up).I wanted a camera that I could put in the rear window of my caravan so that I could get a rear view the road behind. This was initially for reversing, but I soon found that it was great as a “rear view mirror” when travelling. It was particularly useful on the continent, where I normally have a poorer view down the left side of the car/caravan, but this made pulling out in to traffic much easier with a better view.I used a suction mount holder with standard screw fit to mount the camera, upside down (to enable it to point slightly downwards out of the rear window) I used the “Swift wifi Cam” software which enable me to “flip & mirror” the image so that it corrected being mounted upside down & provided the same perspective as if using a mirror. The guide lines on the software helped with assessing relative distance for reversing. The battery lasted an amazing 8.5 hours when used on long journeys and the wifi signal remained very consistent throughout the entire journey. The camera proved invaluable when on a mountain road, blocked by a lorry ahead, necessitating reversing back where I needed a clear view of the traffic behind to ensure I could reverse with confidence.I would have no hesitation in recommending this product.

I bought the easy cam for reversing up to the tow bar and it does this very well, you can use it on your home network or just connect it straight to your smart phone independently from any other networkThe reason for four stars is that the colours can be a bit distorted but this does not Affect The camera Black looks more purple and faces are not easy to make out but I did not buy this for a security cam and the sound is not very good but this does not distract from the fact that the camera does a good job for what I needed it for, I tested this out from a long distance and it worked very well which means you could put this in the back of your Caravan and use it as a reversing Mirror on the car while driving.The magnet is very strong and grips onto the vehicle wellOn the home network you can view the camera from anywhere, my verdict is more versatile than other cams but a bit pricey if needed I would buy again.

I wanted this to use as a rear view camera on my caravan when travelling. As soon as you open the box you can tell it is a high quality product. The apps both connect easily depending on if you want the marker lines or not and the wifi maintains a really good connection throughout the journeys we have taken so far.I fitted it securely to one of the rear handles of the caravan but if you had sufficient metal surface it would be secure with the supplied magnetic mount.I really couldn't recommend this camera enough and the added safety and peace of mind it gives is priceless!

Only real downside is that it is expensive but then it does what it should without too much faffing about. So you get what you pay for. Good quality images, used on farm for reversing various trailers etc so need to be instantly portable, easy to carry around, usable on different machines and with different iPhones/iPads and also for occasional monitoring. Works well enough at night to be very useful for reversing even without lights.

Brilliant worked just as it said - I used it to watch horses in a trailer for travelling. Worked brill great picture.
