Monstrum Low Profile Picatinny Anti-Cant Level Bubble | Fold Out | Small Bubble

Have bought Monstrum products before and they work well. The Anti - Cant Level is made well. It mounts solid on the AR rail and is low enough to fit under my P223 Nikon scopes. All metal construction, comes packaged well and they provide a wrench and extra screw.

Would've liked to see more of a spring mechanism for the swivel retention rather then the screw type method but it stows away easily and I like the cover. It's just the double nut type effect that sometimes can be a pain to get it to swivel out when stowed against the gun out of the way. Maybe not much of a problem for smaller fingers but I wear xl gloves. I did a minor test with another bubble level and it appeared to match so its been a breeze to use when installing a scope by just leveling the rifle then comparing the bubbles. Would definitely recommend. My rifle has a big enough scope now that I leave the level out all the time with just the cover needing to be unscrewed. Its barely shorter then my parallax knob on my (arken EP-5) so I don't worry about bumping it.

After trying and being disappointed by half a dozen Monstrum products I really should have known better, I thought “surely they can’t mess up something as basic as a bubble level!”. But sure enough, when testing on a known level surface and comparing against a similar product from Wheeler, the section that swings out and holds the level is very obviously canted. Which makes this product as useless as everything else this company sells.

Exactly what I needed.

Hard to review, didn't field test, but couldn't get behind the product in home w/ decent lighting. Stiff fold-out movement (probably loosen with time), too many moving parts and pieces, hard to trust level, bubble/fluid is comparatively very hard to see, and sticks out far enough where it'll catch on gun bags or other things hunting. Pushing target range distances out to 200 yards on red dot and 700+ yards on scope; need a simple option with great visibility in varying locations and lighting. Opted for one of the CVLIFE rail-width mounts for a third lower cost, lower profile mount, greater visibility level, no moving pieces after mounting, etc. Should have accepted other reviews, but wanted to get hands-on in hopes it would provide first perceptions wrong...but didn't. Will be returning.

Very good

This level bubble fits directly to the picaninny rail and is easy to install. It is designed to either be used or folded in when not in use. It is nice for long range shooting, and it is nice that it can be folded in for storing or when not needed as well. I do own a number of bubbles that mount to the scope that are OK, but I do like this one better than any of the rest.
